WASHINGTON (Reuters) - New intelligence reviewed by U.S. officials suggests that a pro-Ukrainian group carried out the attack on the Nord Stream pipelines last year, the New York Times reported on Tuesday.
There was no evidence that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy or his top lieutenants were involved in the operation, or that the perpetrators were acting at the direction of any Ukrainian government officials, the newspaper reported, citing U.S. officials.

The exact wording from Joe Biden was “If Russia invades, there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2, we will bring an end to it.” And when a reporter asked how exactly he intended to do it, given that the project was within the control of Germany, Biden just said, “I promise we will be able to do it.”

Hersh also says the bulk of the Russian army is not in Ukraine. Hersch said US troops sodomized young Iraqi boys. Hersch said the whole Osama raid was fake. Osama was being held by the Pakistanis and the seal team walked in and executed Osama.

There are plenty other pipes. It’s amusing to see Russia and its fellow travelers gaslight on this topic. Nordstream is dead politically. Putin killed it with his weaponization of energy and his genocidal orgy of violence in Ukraine. Putin just can’t stop losing and NS is in the dust bin of history.
I still give maybe 1-in-3 odds that some entity who stood to directly make billions off the heightened gas prices pulled this off, figuring everybody would point fingers from a political standpoint.

And how many go directly from Russia to Germany?
How many of the other pipelines have to go through other, non-Russian, operators before reaching Germany?
With Nord Stream, Eastern European countries would have been a non-factor when it came to Russia supplying energy directly to Germany, at least so far as transit and price negotiations went.
Nordstream is dead politically. Putin killed it with his weaponization of energy and his genocidal orgy of violence in Ukraine.
What nonsense. Nord Stream's presence was always a political factor when it came to negotiations with Western Europe, even if it was shut off. The mere fact it could be turned back on from Russia's end was a huge bargaining chip when it came to the matter of easing sanctions, and so on.
That's why we blew it up: to remove that card from Russia's hands.
