Riverside was the one who told George Bush un 2000 that amnesty was the way to solidify Republican voting with Hispanics. GB with Rove’s help, planned to announce amnesty for millions and millions. It was a done deal set to be announced in September 2001 but was tabled because of 9/11. Instead, Bush just left the border open and insulted Americans every chance he could by saying the USA needed these invaders so they could work the jobs that “Americans won’t do”. I’ve hated him ever since.

I remember how Rove's proteges Steve Schmidt and Nicole Wallace sold out Sarah Palin to cover McCain's mistakes and aid their careers.
It left an bad impression on me about GOP campaign consultants that has never gone away.
Democrat campaign consultants know which side they are on. I'm not so sure about Republican consultants.
When Trump ran, he refused all PAC money and told them to stop working in his name. They did not like it.

When your political enemies break election law with no consequences and you agree to play by their fast moving rule changes you can say, yeah Trump lost. Understand though, the same moving rules and no consequences for breaking the law will now be the norm for presidential elections.
