Shovels from the 1870s, I might add.

“ If Wagner retreats from Bakhmut now, the whole front will collapse,” Yevgeny Prigozhin said in a video published over the weekend
******************************************

Well, when I click on the link Reuters says “you’ve reached your limit of free articles”. Since I refuse to give Reuters, NYT and others of their ilk a single penny or a single data point of my personal information I guess I’ll never know what kind of BS they’re pushing in this article.

I suspect I’m missing absolutely nothing of value.

Bakhmut is nothing but large meat grinder the Ukrainians keep marching in to.

I suspect this article is intended on encouraging General Zelinski to throw every thing he’s got left into Bakhmut because the stupid Russians are all out of ammo and the entire war is nearly won. Just one more push!

You are correct in your assumption

This from the article:

Reuters could not independently verify when and where the video was recorded. The footage was published on a Telegram channel that has been disseminating Prigozhin news and has associated itself with the Wagner Group. The video was not published on Prigozhin's usual press service channel.

Pure fabrication written by Neulands office distributed to the servile media as fact and swallowed by the gullible because they need to believe the opposite of reality is really transpiring

It’s meant to buck up our European allies despite their own intel telling them it’s dire for the globalism proxy war side

Are all headline stories about this war apocalyptic?

Putin about to be overthrown or die, Russia to resort to nukes out of spite for facing defeat. Ukraine nearing the end with power and food gone.

Nothing narrow in scope or calm.

It’s meant to just stir the pot another couple of weeks until the next existential crisis.

Exactly. “This just in from the desk of the local CIA office.”

Why does the USA feel obligated to control the affairs of the whole world, even those that have no impact on our national interests? I don’t get it. There must be yellowcake thar in them Bakhmut hills.

This is pathetic. Bakhmut is destroyed and they can't even take it. And Putin is also reportedly hiring Palestinians from Lebanese "refugee" camps to fight for $350US per month. WTH?

Prigozhin is still lacking ammo (yesterday evening local time):

Press service of Prigozhin
#1313 We publish a request from the editors of the LIVE24 publication and the answer:
Dear Evgeny Viktorovich, during the week the issue was discussed with the mobilized who asked for the Wagner PMC. You also mentioned that ammo is not as smooth as it should be. Tell me, please, has the issue of ammunition been resolved, and what is now with the mobilized 352nd regiment?

We publish the commentary of E.V. Prigozhin:
“As for the mobilized, on March 2 in the evening I was informed that all the documents for them were signed, the mobilized left for the location of the Wagner PMC. On the way, they were intercepted by the military police, first returned back, and after that, as I was informed, they were scattered among various regiments - in order not to follow their lead and not let them go to the Wagner PMC.
As for ammunition, documents were signed on February 22 in the evening, orders were given for shipment on February 23, but to date, most of the ammunition has not been shipped. While we understand what the reasons are - ordinary bureaucracy or betrayal.

I can’t answer for the CIA, but the US has effectively committed itself to maintaining the Pax Americana. That’s been the de facto US national strategy since either 1945 or 1950. Doing that requires being the world’s policeman, at least in some areas or cases.

This has an element of riding the tiger. It’s disconcerting while one is on the creatures back, but it’s probably better than getting off.

"For now, we are trying to figure out the reason: is it just ordinary bureaucracy or a betrayal,"

Harkening back to the Stalinist time of the wreckers.

Russians, using shovels designed by a Danish officer in the 1860s,

Getting slaughtered by Ukrainians using Russian rifles designed in the 1940's.

Can't make this up/ smack my head.
