There’s no such thing as “ethnic intimidation”. Read the first amendment to the Constitution.
Yes it does. It absolutely does. You have no right to not be offended.
It is called lawfare. They create laws to punish their enemies only.
She has the right to her opinion and to state it loudly.
The business owner has the right to lay hands on and give her the “Bum’s Rush” out the door.
Local law should have nothing to say about either.
Gee I read the First Amendment and I can't find that anywhere. Care to point specifically where it says that? In fact, what the government is doing is unconstitutional. The Government has no right to keep her from expressing her opinion in this case.
What’s the article say? It’s telling me to turn off ad block. No way.
I know! The law has to be unconstitutional. How far we have fallen.
Scott Adams is right. Move!
Move away from the crazies.
This woman is a piece of work... but I think charges for “ethnic intimidation”? WTF?
What was intimidating? She said she would run them out town? Going to see if they are illegals? I certainly don’t see anyone being “Intimidated” by her behavior. No one caved to her, and no one went silent to her rant.. so I don’t see how “Intimidation” could be construed. Attempted intimidation perhaps, but certainly no one in that shop seemed intimidated by her behavior.
This DA should be run out of town on a rail IMHO.
Based on her speech pattern I wonder if she is drunk or something.
That's a crime? What are the penalties?
Not sorry until charged? Asking for a friend...
We’re there, already.
When I lived in that state to the left of us (AKA California) it wasn't uncommon to see people walking downtown streets doing just that. Mostly to people who weren't actually there...
None of her opinions are crimes - under the US Constitution, they CANNOT be crimes.
This is not Germany, we do not have a Grundgesetz. And people who think we should have one are traitors.
Yes, Scott Adams has been cancelled for uttering sentiments similar to those of Jesse Jackson.
sounds like she committed blasphemy against the national religion of diversity.
I've lived in places like that, too.
What a way to start a discussion. Would you like to sit down to lunch with me and discuss it? I’ll pay for lunch.
I agree.
You have a right to express your opinion about Spanish TV in a restaurant.
You have a right to argue with someone or become angry.
You have a right to make yourself look like an idiot in public.
But, you don't have a right to harass people, disturb the peace, or engage in disorderly conduct.
Nothing wrong with expressing your opinion.
There is something wrong with yelling the f-bomb and flipping the bird in the face of a polite worker at a privately owned restaurant.
