Prominent MAGA advocate and Trump backer Alex Bruesewitz is being slammed with vicious lies from Team DeSantis on social media with baseless allegations being spread that Bruesewitz is a tool for hostile foreign governments.
The deception started with a post from commentator John Cardillo, who inferred that Bruesewitz was an “unregistered foreign agent” for appearing in a social media photo with a Turkish diplomat where he promoted Trump’s America First economic policies:

Cardillo followed up by doubling down on the unsubstantiated claim:

Reports have indicated that Cardillo is one of the social media influencers who is in the tank for DeSantis as the Florida governor attempts to astroturf a social media groundswell heading into his imminent run for the presidency in 2024.
Former DeSantis press secretary Christina Pushaw, who is expected to be a key player in DeSantis’ imminent presidential campaign, commented on the fake news circulated by Cardillo, indicating that the hit on Bruesewitz was ordered from the top:

I believe that the Trump-DeSantis rivalry, while “legitimate” in the sense that it is happening and will happen, is a put up job. The purpose is: divide the party so the Lefty wins. I think DeSantis has done some good things - but the marketing of them far-exceeds the substance. For example, the no-trans-for-kids bill just limited the trans-pushing to 4th grade and older. Well, yeah, you shouldn’t tell a 3rd grade to cut off his penis, but it doesn’t mean you’re wonderful if you its ok to tell a 4th grader that. But when you hear the marketing on DeSantis, it sounds like he single handedly defeated the trans movement. DeSantis is a faker - he’s a Jeb Bush creation, a disney audioanimatronic figure. True, he might be all we end up with. But he isnt the Trump Jr that the press makes him out to be. Trump v. DeSantis is a theatrical production designed to split the Republicans to install a Lefty, or split the Republicans to install a JebBush acceptable globalist. If DeSantis is all we end up with v. Joe Bidet or Mrs.Zero or SHillary - well we have to vote for it. But we’ve got input right now, and I can’t imagine voting for the JebBush annointed spokesmodel.
I also think there are basically 3 criteria for choosing next Republican nominee.
1) Who will actually DO something about abortion?
2) Who is most capable as President of winning WW 3?
3) Who is actually willing, capable, able, to DO something
about election fraud?
All 3 of those are USA-survives or USA-doesnt-survive level issues. The nominee has to be measured by balls and ability to actually achieve the correct solution on those 3.
I believe we will be in open warfare WW3 prior 2024 election. China+russia will do some Pearl Harbor type suprise. So whether we are physically capable of conducting an election is a question, and all your voter-precinct-captains need to be creating your paper-ballot-only systems to prepare for that eventuality.
Cardillo is a certifiable nutcase.
Seeing this early destruction, I hope DeSantis has agents speaking to Trump about a VP spot.

I love both Don and Ron, but Trump’s team complaining about something said by a DeSantis supporter is a bit rich. Trump has repeatedly attacked Ron, including personal insults and inneunedos. Sorry but that is a 2 way street, and this is mild compared to what Trump has lobbed in Ron’s direction.

What reports? The last time a guilt by association attack like this was attempted, the person in question was actually Trump supporter, not DeSantis.
