Hours after Hershey's Canadian brand launched its HER for SHE campaign in conjunction with International Women's Day, social media activists began calling for a boycott of the iconic chocolate maker.
The ad features trans woman and activist Fae Johnstone as one of the five faces of the campaign. Johnstone and five others will adorn five different wrappers during March.

Can you a imagine a modern-day version of "Mad Men".
If SNL wasn’t so woke, a skit would be freaking awesome.
Chappelle? South Park?
Sales won’t drop. Candy bars are sold via distribution and Hershey has muscles. A mediocre product like budwiser and Hershey does well because of distribution not quality.
Does this mean no more distinction between male and female Hershey bars?
Headline from Philly Inquirer: Hershey Canada Women’s Day campaign sparks transphobic vitriol on Twitter
No bias there, eh?
“social media activists began calling for a boycott of the iconic chocolate maker”
they should be boycotted anyway simply for having really crappy chocolate ...
The male bars still have nuts...
Oh wait.... Nevermind.
Sometimes you feel like a nut....sometimes you don’t.
just as appealing...
“International Women’s Day”
Should be:
International People without a Penis Day
Hershey’s launched its HER for SHE campaign??
Do they have a SHE for IT campaign? A Him for He?
Vote yes on no?
Don’t they both have nuts?
Yep, it’s hilarious.
*** I know if I had a daughter in school and she had to shower with guys, I’d be really upset.***
My daughter is getting married soon. Last year, we had a girls’ weekend in NYC, and she lined up a few bridal salons to go look at wedding gowns. Well, one of these places had small private rooms for guests to sit together while the bride to be had a changing room attached. One of the “apprentices” was a transgender male, I guess trans in training, because his name was Brian, and he talked with a man’s voice. He was very hairy all over, and wore a skirt with his hairy legs underneath, and some kind of hair wrap in his hair, like the Aunt Jemima kind.
I nearly jumped out of my skin when he went to help my daughter get out of one of the gowns, with only her panties on, no bra, behind that curtained dressing area. I did nothing though, because these kids must be more used to that crap than I am, and the others acted like this was all very normal. I wanted to punch him in the nose, and tell him to keep his hands to himself, and his eyes too. In NYC, there may be no rules, but I’m just not used to seeing this sort of thing where I live. It grosses me out.
Hershey makes the worst excuse for chocolate in the world. Haven’t bought it In years. Does that count as boycotting?
What’s with the nose ring thing? Does that advertise “lesbian”? Or what?
That booger hanging from his nose should sell lots of those...err...chocolate candy bars.
Who’s paying for the dress?
If they’re a woman, why do they keep putting trans in front of
woman?
It should be woman, but then they know better.
