TRUMP PREVIEWS ANTICIPATED CPAC SPEECH ON SATURDAY: ‘SEE YOU THERE!’
RSBN ^ | Summer Lane

Posted on 03/02/2023 8:14:09 AM PST by SoConPubbie

President Donald Trump promised to deliver a recipe that would “fix” the myriad of problems plaguing the United States at the hands of the inept Biden administration, previewing his anticipated remarks on Saturday at the 2023 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in a statement posted to Truth Social.

“I will be at CPAC on Saturday, talking about the fact that, obviously, our Country is going to ‘HELL,’ and how to fix it,” he wrote on Thursday. “Also, the Democrats use of Radical Left Prosecutors and the WEAPONIZATION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT. It is illegal, has never been used and abused like this, and has the potential to bring down our once fair and wonderful Country. These Marxist Thugs have been after me for years, only to help them win elections. In just Two Years, we have become a Third World Failing Nation. MAGA!!!”

DON'T MISS: CPAC in Washington, D.C. – March 1-4, 2023 🇺🇸

We will be LIVE in our nation's capital this week covering the top conservative leaders, including President Donald J. Trump ‼️

You can watch it all week right here on RSBN!https://t.co/QeWRelpO0V— RSBN 🇺🇸 (@RSBNetwork) February 27, 2023

Don’t miss RSBN’s coverage of CPAC 2023!

This year’s exciting CPAC is being held in Washington, D.C., returning to the epicenter of American politics with a riveting slate of speakers and roundtable discussions featuring Republican leaders like Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., Trump Media & Technology Group CEO Devin Nunes, Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, and MyPillow CEO and election integrity advocate Mike Lindell.

President Trump also weighed in this week on high-profile conservative leaders who would not be attending the event.

Trump wrote:

“The only reason certain ‘candidates’ won’t be going to CPAC is because the crowds have no interest in anything they have to say. They’ve heard it all before, and don’t want to hear it again. But my speech, on Saturday night, is already a sold out ‘monster.’ They are trying to expand the room and space. We’ll have a great time at CPAC, we always do. See you there, and don’t forget to vote in the important Straw Poll!”

Notably, both Governor Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., and Former Vice President Mike Pence will not be in attendance.

Personally, I’d like to hear what De Santis has to say. I think he didn’t want to be seen as playing 2nd fiddle to Trump and probably losing to him in the straw poll. But, he still should have gone.

I’d like to see a Trump/DeSantis 2024 ticket.

DeSantis won’t take orders from Trump. The concept is ridiculous.

Why would he go? He isn’t a candidate for anything. There is “zero” upside for him going there.

I’d like to see a Trump/DeSantis 2024 ticket.

That's the only way DeSantis has any relevance on the National Stage and makes it to the Big Seat.

Trump can claim he’ll fix it because he’s done it once before.

DeSantis can run in ‘28

DeSantis needs to finish what he’s started in Florida and help spread his ideas to other Republican Governors. It’s got to be Trump for ‘24

DeSantis was on with Clay & Buck last week promoting his book. When asked about running for President, he said that right now he has legislative duties that end in May and after that he'll decide whether or not he'll have an announcement to make. I just hope Trump doesn't act like a two year old bully and start calling DeSantis names because he didn't show up at CPAC.

Why in the world can’t my fellow Freepers see through what a phony DeSantis is???!!!

He has demonstrated utter disloyalty to PDJT and is obviously accepting the backing of literally all of the forces aligned against the man who provided invaluable help in his 2018 gubernatorial victory!!

He’ll be taking orders from his wife, because he’s shot his chances at the national level.

The Florida legislature is in session. I’m glad DeSantis has his priorities straight. Let the unemployed have a swell time while the ones not in attendance continue to work for the country.

They can see it, as most everyone can. The dots connecting DeSantis to the corrupt globalist insiders has become quite apparent.

The dots you see are from hitting yourself over the head with “I hate DeSantis” hammer. You’re much to obvious.

Exactly, DeSantis needs to remain governor of Florida so he can defend from wokeness sure to get a foothold again if he abandons Florida. Jeb Bush wants DeSantis to run though.

Trump was robbed the presidency, with tens of millions of his supporters getting their votes ripped off. If ya think think some lawyer turned career insider politician, is going to get all those tens of millions of Trump votes if DeSantis ever decides to go national, you’re going to be in for a real big surprise.

Speaking of obvious, this should be real obvious to anyone paying attention.

By the way, hating DeSantis has little to do with it. The big ugly facts are he’s playing a game he can’t win.

In other words, if this guy went national, and somehow won the nomination, I’d bet you lots of money he’d lose 75%+ of the Trump/MAGA vote.

Considering this, his chances at the national level are zip, zero.

Largely true.

Trump won in 2016 by converting Obama votes in PA, WI and MI to votes for him.

Those people did not vote for Republicans. They voted for him. Trump did not bring those votes to the Republican party. He brought them for him — because the party does not embrace conservatism as it is now properly defined as:

Build the Wall
Drain the Swamp
America First In All Things
Pro 2nd Amendment
Pro Life

No picking and choosing. All of it. If you’re a long time GOP politician you are part of the Swamp, same as long time Dem politicians. Drain the Swamp can easily become bi-Partisan.

DeSantis has been in politics too long and just seeks a deeper Swamp.
