CUSTOMERS WILL NEED TO FOLLOW NEW RULES WHEN SHIPPING CERTAIN PACKAGES. . These regulations will make it mandatory for you to list each item in your package with a "specific, accurate description" on the customs declaration form.
"Acceptable goods descriptions must include complete, detailed information, explaining the precise nature of the goods in plain language," the USPS explains on its website, adding that it must also give "an indication of what the goods are, what they are made of, and what purpose they serve."

Do you send those overseas?
The responses to this article make me want to put a forehead shaped mark on my monitor.

Exactly. The anonymity of a package keeps it safe(er).
No more plain brown wrapper.
When one of my younger relatives was studying abroad, I sent clothing, but put candies deep in the pockets, as a surprise. Oh, well.
Tyranny has no limits...
You are not required to enjoy your chains...
You are required to keep your mouth shut and get that list completed...
Or else...

Why do I think this is more about the EU not liking competition...
Yes they did I guess I’m a convincing liar but I just kept waiting for the FBI or somebody to come and get me. 😀
USPS has screwed with my last package delivery.
Note to small biz: If there’s something of yours I need or want to buy and USPS is your only shipper, and you won’t use UPS or FedEx even though I’m willing to pay through the nose for your time and inconvenience, I won’t buy from you.
