Consider how much weaker the U.S. will be by then. How much deeper in debt. How much weaker militarily (having shipped much of our supplies to Ukraine, plus the wokeness of the officer corps). How much more fragile our economy and supply chains. How much more domestic turmoil.
Would a president Trump or DeSantis be able to trust the loyalty or competency of our military and intelligence services? The military refused Trump's orders to put down the rioting in D.C.
Trump or DeSantis would have to build up America and drain the swamp, before either could launch any new wars.

Get a bunch of europeans shooting at each other (their natural state anyway) have your adversary arm one of the sides and keep a close count on how much of what is no longer in inventory. When the numbers give you a clear maximum losses possible number that is lower than your limit, you pull the trigger. Commies are good at the sort of math.
