China can easily wait another 20 years and continue to expand its military capabilities while America continues to decay. Time is on their side.
I'm not so sure. I think the CCP will eventually end up on the ash heap of history for the same reasons that the Soviet Union did. There is little room for innovation in their system and their expertise is in copying technology. The one child policy where boys only were chosen has proven disastrous. They have an aging population and will be surpassed this year by India as the most populous country. They have only succeeded because they have been aided and abetted by those in this country who sold us out for a profit from slave labor. I think China is wanting to fast track the reunification not just because they see the US weak with Biden at the helm, but also because they can see that right now they are close to their zenith both economically and militarily. The only question to me is whether the ash heap that they are confined to is just theirs or they plan on taking the rest of the world with them.
