Well, I suppose he might give good speech, but the fact is that Republicans don’t control the Senate or the Presidency. And the DOJ is in hostile hands too, so even “Congressional investigations” will amount to nothing.
So what exactly does Mr. Roy expect anyone in that position to accomplish?

Last time we had a civil war, a million men died. Weâre not doing that again over policy differences that are usually settled by getting either presidency (which then issues executive orders to overcome legislative gridlock, until overturned by the courts) or legislative majorities.

It comes down to the citizenry. If we don’t vet candidates, we get the same. We can learn from the people of El Salvador: they became 1-issue voters and left the legacy parties for an outsider.

In a word, PERSUASION of voters and his Congressional colleagues. We need loud, frequent, and persistent objections and explanations of the disaster befalling the nation by the RevComDems. That is one way to begin taking back the nation.

Well, he’s not going to persuade the Dems, and he’s probably not too likely to have more influence on voters than the mass media that bombards them all day long, since they will likely never hear a word of what Mr. Roy says unless they seek it out.
Fifty years of full-on, wide-spread assault by liberal kooks, greeniacs, and homos moved Americans far to the left on many issues. It doesn’t happen overnight. You have to treat it as a long-term, multi-front to bring people back to theirs senses.

What can be done with only one house, is block hair-brained and evil legislation and appropriations. And investigate.
What people on the border can do is shoot the G-d damned Coyotes as they shepherd people across the Rio Grande. But after a time or two they’ll be laying for them, so that’s got to be hit and run and not entirely adequate, and there may be casualties. Chip, I think, with his references to the Rangers and the Alamo, was hinting at just that, though he da’sn’t say so explicitly.
