A conflict over what it means to be Christian is forcing a school in Kansas City, Missouri, to close.
Urban Christian Academy is a private, K-8 school with an enrollment of 100 that describes itself as providing "a tuition-free, high-quality, Christ-centered education for low-income students."
The school’s mission statement has always stressed inclusivity in general terms, noting that following Jesus "opens up doors and makes room at the table." But last year it added a paragraph to its website, which read in part, "We are an affirming school. We stand with the LGBTQIA+ community and believe in their holiness. We celebrate the diversity of God's creation in all its varied and beautiful forms."

The sane, truly Christian parents need to find a real Christian school for their children.
UNC story last week showed a major institution was pushing back, because the donors and parents are demanding it. This story is a example of what I call BACKLASH on steroids.
Eventually, they would have to comply with twerking drag queens and porn.
Sounds like they were not really a christian school to begin with.

Nope. Like the cross-dressing freaks, they wore Christianity like a costume.
Churches and church-attending donors decided not to support them after they officially went whole-hog into sexual and gender loopiness.
I wonder why the LGBTQIA+ Community hasn’t stepped in to support a free school that has embraced them.

Any organization that puts that codicil in its mission statement tolerates pedophilia and is permeated with homosexuals.

School that claimed to be Christian. They obviously were not Christian.

Why didn’t these apostates hold a drag queen fundraiser? I hear that’s quite popular among these “affirming” types.
Probably has more to do with “tuition free” than recognizing LGBTQIA+ are also God’s children.

There’s even longer versions. I remember two-spirited was in their somewhere back in the nineties. Never did figure that out.
Then it wasn’t a Christian school.

There is a big difference between accepting that homosexuals are what they are (and loving your enemy, as it were) and accepting their behavior and recruiting efforts.
