Said the same thing to my wife when I read this crap. I remember what the Japanese Admiral Yamamoto said about attacking the U.S. Something like: “I am afraid we have woke a sleeping giant.” Something along those lines. He knew from his time in the US, how our INDUSTRIAL base would quickly rally to make war materials and we had millions upon millions of men ages 17 to 45 that could go into the military. Problem is, we don’t HAVE AN INDUSTRIAL BASE any longer. The only damned thing we make in America today is those automobile floorboard liners, Weather Teck or something along those lines, they advertise they are made in the USA. The only other thing we make is nothing. Sure, cars. But in the event of a war, the auto industry wouldn’t stop making cars, to make Jeeps, Hummers, Abrams tanks, fighter jets. It takes three years or more to make one Carrier now. In WWII we were turning out those babies like five a week or two. They did not have all the bells and whistles on them that they do today. Our new fighter jets, damned parts are make all over the world. Not just here. Nope, a war with Red China scares the hell out of me.
USA also makes pillows. Until they arrest the pillow guy.
