After the Tet offensive, all those briefings about the US military seeing victory as the light at the end of the tunnel….started losing believers. When people stop believing the ooo-ra, the war is lost on the homefront. That’s where wars of attrition are won and lost.
Ukraine soon faces explaining to its people, its own army, and to its western donors…why Bakhmut wasn’t really that important and why they threw 60,00-90,000 men there and lost at least 1/3 of them.

I would be happiest if: 1) The US wasn’t involved. 2) Putin would just leave Ukraine Territory 3) The US government would quit messing around with Ukraine political environment 4) That George Soros would just go away 5) The poor farmers were just left alone in Ukraine.
