Remember the millions of gallons of gold mine waste tailings that the EPA released into the Animas river, between Durango and Silverton Colorado, back in 2015.

That's right, it was during the sainted Obama administration, all the fishies that died were flushed right into the old memory hole, leaving behind only the sound of a gigantic flushing toilet.

If that disaster had happened during a Republican administration, the MSM and the EPA would have held a state funeral for each individual fish.

But wait! It was the EPA that caused the release of three million gallons of heavy-metal-laden wastewater from a mine that was just sitting there doing nothing! Turned the river solid yellow for miles!

But the ODNR isn’t concerned in the least for a 750 football fields solar installation. What’s in the solar panels ODNR? That’s right, they don’t care to find out.

So, what was that oily residue that J.D. Vance stirred up in the creek bottom?

I’ve stirred up little bits of creek bottoms, and ditto for lakes and ponds, many a time, and often pretty “gunky” and even a few times smelly stuff is freed up, but I never saw anything quite like that.

“Safe to drink”

“overblown”

I’ve yet to see verification of exactly from whom the order came to blow up the cars, but all they did was take a toxic cleanup site and spread the dioxin contamination across multiple states, endangering the health of millions.

Point of fact, since I’ve not seen anyone else posit it:

If these had been train cars loaded with hydrocarbon industry chemicals - i.e., ‘oil company’ - both the news and government response would have been quite different.

Typical. Save the whales but let over 38K minnows die and the publicity, or lack of, is just the opposite. How many spotted owls have they saved that feed nothing while letting the food source for thousands of animals die, including man, and you can hear crickets. Oh, did they die also?
