Biden's costly miscalculation makes Ukraine a lost cause

A Wall Street Journal editorial this week highlighted the absurdity of America's strategy in Ukraine. The Journal urges the U.S. to provide more advanced weapons to Ukraine, including a longer-range missile system, which Biden is reluctant to do. Ukraine, with America's help, must win, argues the Journal, in part to thwart a developing Russia-China-Iran axis of power. The Journal doesn't seem to notice that U.S. and Western support for Ukraine's military has been the impetus for this incipient axis.

###

In war, telling your enemy you'll push only so hard is a serious handicap. It cedes a critical tactical advantage to the Russians, because you can be sure Putin won't hesitate to escalate, if he thinks he might lose in Ukraine, and compel us to retreat. He can force America's hand by announcing that Western support for Ukraine violates Russia's sovereignty, backing it up with a significant escalation.

###

I suspect that the Russians believe he'd fold like a cheap suit. Biden can hardly afford to meaningfully respond to a major escalation by Russia over Ukraine, given the threat of Russia's nukes and weak support for the war at home.

In short, Putin can call the bluff of Western commitment in Ukraine and force us to back off. So far, he hasn't needed to. But if he feels Ukraine slipping away, he undoubtedly will. At bottom, our support for Ukraine — beyond just costing billions of dollars — will only bolster the growing perception of America as a foolish and feckless superpower.

Mobilization in Ukraine:

"Fishing" young boys from the streets.
As young as 16 and throwing them to the frontlines in combat areas, where according to Ukraine military, their life expectancy is approximately 4 hours.

Meanwhile Western leaders are fully ok with this....

I’m starting to think that if the US isn’t sending a specific weapon to Ukraine.. is because we don’t actually have it.

The other day Biden promised that the U.S. will support Ukraine to the bitter end.

Ask the Vietnamese, the Iraqis, the Afghanis, the Bay of Pigs Cubans, etc. how American promises of support tend to work out.

Biden's costly miscalculation makes Ukraine a lost cause

Not a lost cause.

A very costly cause.

No matter how costly, Ukraine would be a lot more costly if Russia wins. We and Europe and perhaps other nations, would have to intervene in more costly battles or wars in the future, with millions of lives lost and trillions spent to deter, not only Russia, but China too.

There is no other way to look at it, even if it looks very expensive now and very deadly now.

There is no other way to look at it

Yes, there is another way to look at it. Most definitely.

And, that way is making the rounds of all the FR threads, regardless of the initial poster being for Ukraine prevailing or being defeated.

To be for Ukraine is to be for bidEn, the Deep State Cabal, CIA biolabs, and on and on. Unfortunately so for the people of Ukraine.

1. America is not at war or is in conflict in the Ukraine

2. The west fooked around and found out

3. The only way out is through a negotiated peace.

4. Nothing there is worth one American serviceman’s life or NUCLEAR WAR.

“...their life expectancy is approximately 4 hours.

The Biden Administration, Pentagon, State Department, Deep State, NATO, MSM, Lockhead Martin, Boeing and General Dynamics are all 100% committed to defeating Russia down to the very last Ukrainian.

The neocons made a gross miscalculation that by seizing Russia’s foreign reserves, kicking them out of the Swift international payment system, and sanctioning them would collapse Russia’s economy and bring them to their knees. Well guess what they were wrong about that as they’ve been wrong about what would be achieved by us going to war with Iraq and Afghanistan too. They have been wrong about everything because they are just a bunch of greedy corrupt idiots who have personally profited from these wars to the detriment of America as a whole. You’d think the American people would wake up to this by now, but so far media propaganda has managed to keep most Americans in the dark as to what is really going on here.

They want the Hundreds of Billions.

And the US Politicians voted against an IG and auditing of that money.

I’m sure it’s just a large Coincidence.
