Frankly, I don’t care whether they’re illegal, legal, or they arrived by UFO…the bottom line is that importing massive hordes of unknown people with third world mindsets will destroy this country. It’s already done enormous damage since Ted Kennedy opened the floodgates, which is why we no longer have a cohesive American culture.
There are a few exceptions out there, of course, who want to come here for the right reasons and who would be net assets to the country. A real, orderly immigration system would thoroughly vet those who apply, strictly control the numbers allowed in, and ensure that only the best and brightest are allowed entry. And no “diversity is our strength” nonsense. Anyone wanting to come here must demonstrate their allegiance to this country and its governing principles. In the meantime, we should implement an immigration moratorium, until we can assess what we have allowed in in recent years and expel as many of the illegals as possible.
