Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, two prospective 2024 Republican presidential candidates, are among several former and current U.S. officials and legislators visiting Israel this week.
Cotton and Pompeo are slated to address the Tikvah Fund’s Hertog Forum, which begins on Tuesday in Tel Aviv. Both are giving evening keynote addresses at the convening, which will also include appearances by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY)

That should be interesting....I wonder if they’ll speak about the Knessets initial finding that will limit the power of ‘unelected’ Judges. We should do likewise.

This won’t gain them much for 2024. Most Jewish voters don’t care that much about Israel anymore. How could they if they tolerate Israel haters in our own Congress?
Few of these people care about visiting Americans.

Jewish voters don’t really matter, but Jewish political donors do.
Since the American Jewish Establishment believes Israel should be a Leftist dictatorship, and no Republican is likely to concede that point, Republicans really have nothing to offer that the American Jewish Establishment wants.
A nice visit and tour of the Holy Land on somebody else’s buck is too good to pass up.

Pompeo can stay there. Cotton needs to come home stop smoking that stuff and get back to work.
