A guest on MSNBC launched a racially charged attack against ​former Ambassador to the United Nations ​Nikki Haley on Sunday night, accusing the Republican presidential candidate of using her “brown skin to launder white supremacist talking points.”

Haley is a Sikh. Sikhs have an, er, history, with Muslims. So it’s not black and white, but ancient beefs going back to the medieval Punjab.

She's a politician. Politicians have a long tradition of converting to religions that appeal to more voters. They don't really mean it, and might still feel loyalty to their original religion.
