House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has given Fox News' Tucker Carlson exclusive access to 41,000 hours of Capitol surveillance footage from the Jan. 6 riot, McCarthy sources tell me.
Carlson TV producers were on Capitol Hill last week to begin digging through the trove, which includes multiple camera angles from all over Capitol grounds. Excerpts will begin airing in the coming weeks. Why it matters: Carlson has repeatedly questioned official accounts of 1/6, downplaying the insurrection as "vandalism."
Now his shows — "Tucker Carlson Tonight" on Fox News, and "Tucker Carlson Today" and "Tucker Carlson Originals" on the streaming service Fox Nation — have a massive trove of raw material. Carlson told me: "[T]here was never any legitimate reason for this footage to remain secret."
"If there was ever a question that's in the public's interest to know, it's what actually happened on January 6. By definition, this video will reveal it. It's impossible for me to understand why any honest person would be bothered by that." Reality check: The Jan. 6 committee played numerous excerpts of the footage at last year's captivating hearings. (See the committee's archive.)
Between the lines: The process with Carlson started in early February, according to a communication between the show and a McCarthy representative that I was shown.

Let the legal axe decapitate any who are deserving...
You don’t have to “go through” anything. You post the source and link to the file. Let the people researching go through each hour. It would take a weekend to list the files. Probably longer to copy them.
Security Camera A. File 00001.
Security Camera B. File 00002.
My point is that when an individual is allowed “access” it makes everyone else suspect that the entire story is not being told. Transparency is supposed to eliminate any doubt.
How long does it take to eliminate that stuff.
Anyway, it’s the emails and documents that matter. Why hasn’t anyone dumped all that stuff?
My point is that there is zero transparency on either side. Why should anyone believe ANYTHING that is written if a person cannot see it for themselves. Its not like this stuff isn’t already “digital.”
Exactly.
A wikileaks-style post of it all for all.
I get it, Tucker’s from a good CIA family and all, but this reeks.
To win in DC, you have to think like a Democrat. That means a fishing expedition that will hook the big fish: Walleye Pelosi; but attract the other fish that can be simply scooped up with the big fish.
If you get Pelosi, you definitely get Mayor Bowwowser, as she was in on the National Guard meeting where Pelosi specifically rejected the offer of 10,000 NatGuard because, "They won't be under my control.".
If you get Pelosi, you definitely get Lt. Michael Byrd and his pimp 'security' cohort, with the exception of Sergeant-at-Arms Michael Stenger (died a year ago).
You may also get the ANTIFA mob, including the moron who 'shot' the Ashley Babbitt execution video and filmed himself shouting "let’s burn this shit down" in the hallway on the way to luring Babbitt to her death -- which earned him a shitton of J6 charges lofl; you may also get USCP ex-chiefs Steven Sund and Yogananda Pittman; you may also get the alphabets who had their glowies everywhere -- as 'tourists', as ANTIFA, and also as embeds in really dumb agitprop Deep State fronts like the Glow Boys, and the Oaf Keepers; you may get Eleanor Holmes Norton; and you may even get Schumer.
Even Speaker Kevin Faboo knows this is a line worth casting, because it paves the road to the Church Committee II:
"Open the people's house back to the people. We've opened up the Capitol, took away magnetometers. We're releasing those tapes, Nancy wouldn't release her own texts, I WATCHED PEOPLE SAY THINGS (in the J6 Comintern) THAT WERE NOT TRUE. Releasing the tapes allows people to see for themselves.""(No) I haven't seen the tapes, I just think they should be released. She (Pelosi) picked a J6 Chair that said we can't look at Pelosi or the Sergeant-At-Arms." -- Speaker Kevin Faboo
I agree. Tucker shouldn’t have exclusive access nor should he want it.
True.
Why not grant access to everyone?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
No one else has the number of viewers that Tucker does. They want it disseminated in its nugatory aspects.
really you got a link to that little factoid, or did you just make it up, cause your pissed at fox still
We’ve already seen the worse - jazzed up, speeded up and compressed to look more violent. Democrats and their shills played that non-stop for months...
What? NO WAY, this is BS.
Tucker is a former (?) CIA employee.
I like a lot of what he does but he can’t be the only person they release this to. You just never know.
As he is famous for, he'll release pertinent information he finds, months if not years from now. Prior to that it will be all opinion.
If anyone thinks his Aussie bosses at Murdoch news will give him free reign, think again.
Bottom line. No one at Fox, not even Tucker can be trusted to tell the entire truth on anything Trump related...THEY HATE HIM!.. Period
And yet the Capital Police waived many of the protestors in just so Nancy Pelosi could use it to batter Republicans. We now know that many in the crowd were either Capital Policemen dressed up as protestors, FBI and CIA plants or BLM people dressed up as MAGA people to discredit the rally.
Wow again. Thanks!
41000 hours. Ridiculous.
You really think Tucker will have the final say on what gets shown?
Why not? Such reveal is so much better than Trump Derangement Syndrome.
