Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky praised President Biden for his surprise trip to Kyiv on Monday for talks in the war-torn capital city just days ahead of the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“Historic. Timely. Brave. I welcomed @POTUS in Kyiv as Russian full-scale aggression approaches its one-year mark,” Zelensky said on Twitter.
“I am thankful to the U.S. for standing with Ukraine and for our strong partnership. We are determined to work together to ensure Ukraine’s victory.”
Biden in Kyiv announced another half-billion dollars in aid to Ukraine and gave remarks on unity in the face of Russian aggression. It’s his first visit to the country since Russia invaded Ukraine late last February.

Well, I called that in a post the other day. I’m not some great political seer. Anyone could see that coming. Heck, even my cat Mr. Whiskers saw it coming. And like me, he’s not happy about it.
And as I side note, I’m sure Congress is okay with this.
Probably no need to even hold a vote.

What the hell is so “historic, timely and brave” about the demented one visiting Kiev?. He has his own private army defending him there. The demented one needs to be “historic, timely and brave” right here in his supposed own country. America is being overrun by the same kind of people as the Russians. People trying to take over our country and rob our treasury. They are already starting to infest our government. They’re supposed to be whinyassed “refugees”, not politicians. We’ve already got more politicians than we need.

He’s an absolute tool for biden, who is himself an absolute feeble weak tool for state’s disastrous foreign policy.

That can be the only logical reaction to this.. Didn’t we hear over the weekend that there wasn’t a chance he would go to Ukraine or did I dream it? I notice he had his “cue cards” with him. Probably one reads, “You’re in UKRAINE”.....
Of course, if the earlier statement was true, it will be explained as a need to keep his surprise trip there secret..
He left out “profitable”...
The fact that the Secret Service would allow Biden in Kiev for a generic photo-op shows how restrained Russia is.
Even the Secret Service knows it.
