A Los Angeles lawyer is accused blowing $10.2 million of company funds on her own 'extravagant lifestyle' - which included a six-month gambling binge at the Wynn in Las Vegas.
Sara Jacqueline King, 39, is being sued by her former employer, British based lender LDR International, for the full amount - though the Newport Beach-based attorney alleges she now has only $11.98 to her name after her hard-partying binge at the $300-a-night hotel.
The 33-page suit accuses King of federal fraud, and was filed in the California Central District court Saturday.

People like this simply cannot be trusted at any future point.
I would never hire a person like this.

If I were going to create fraud, it would involve smaller amounts that I invest and pay back, so the money never gets missed and I get rich.

I would never hire this person. Well, I might consider it, just a little, if I were single.

A good attorney would have figured out a way to make her time in Vegas be billable hours and end up with a net profit for the partnersβ¦

Seems likely her husband was involved, as heβs gone on the lam to Morocco. Thereβs probably an interesting story about him too.

That had to be a good sized firm for her to have done that. Wonder if their insurance covers that? She must have ben going to Vegas all the time, when did she practice any law, wonder what her area of practice was?
Was this the same film that Michael Avanetti was in?
