A long, long time ago, in this galaxy right here, freight trains had cabooses — them little, red houses on wheels at the very END of the train. And cabooses had little observation cupolas on top with windows, and a guy would sit up there and watch the train for derailments and hot boxes and fires and so forth. Anything suspicious-looking, and they’d stop the train and determine what was wrong.’
Now, trains have no cabooses. They have End-Of-Train Devices (a small box) put on the last coupler in the consist, with a brake line pressure monitor, and a flashing light.
I guess cabooses were maybe better.
Actions speak louder than words.
This tells me they KNOW there’s a big problem.
Lord. I wonder what a volcano would do? Those things let off loads of sulfuric acid and other nasties.
The same message that has been true since the Earth was created. God saying “You’re done.”
This OH case is a Biden scandal too.
“I guess cabooses were maybe better.”
No, you have to pay a human to sit in it. Management doesn’t like that.
I guess they don’t trust Biden’s EPA either.
I’m marveling at the contrast in coverage between this and something like the Deepwater Horizon [BP] incident. That was going to ruin water, beaches, wildlife, ... for generations. Here ... crickets.
i have relatives across the river in Newport Kentucky...they are doing bottled water only...nobody knows who to believe...
No mention of dioxins in the article. Typical useless half-narrative from Commie propaganda.
Ditto. Good discussion of dioxin’s huge risk:
