Squatters who took over a Washington state property during the coronavirus pandemic were finally removed by a SWAT team this week only to return to the property shortly after, according to the property owner.
Roughly 30 officers took part in the Wednesday raid of a Lynnwood, Washington property that had been taken over by squatters as part of a stolen vehicle trafficking investigation. Police say 52 cars, some of them stolen, along with drugs and firearms were found on the property, KIRO 7 News reported.

Democrat-led states are already losing their highest tax-payers. Are they just depending on federal money via the tax-payers from other states to bail them out?
Why can’t you go in and kill them as intruders?
That is exactly what is happening. It is part of the effort to eliminate state rights.
“Fox News Digital spoke to Lieutenant Hayes who said that ensuring the squatters don’t return is “largely on the property owner.””
I suspect if Lieutenant Hayes had to return to investigate the property owners “final solution”, he would say that the owner should have called the LEOs first.
For real, what do they expect the property owners to do, given the lax enforcement of laws in that state?
LOL!
The same "farce enlawment" system that won't touch the malefactors would fall upon you like the weight of a thousand pyramids...
I am glad I live in a state that enforces criminal laws against burglary of a habitation (and allows you to shoot them if they break in while you are home).
I dunno what happened..
They all just up and left...
Where is that?
Vote better.
“(and allows you to shoot them if they break in while you are home).”
I am in Washington State and can legally shoot an intruder if he is a threat. Someone just standing there, no perceived threat, probably not.
S, S and S
One of the few acronymns bandied about on Free Republic that I understand.
Shoot, shovel and shut up.
“ living in “unhealthy and unstable conditions.”
…so the concern is the squatters health?! This is why my rental is an Airbnb. Appealing to traveling nurses and people that have sold a house and waiting to close on another is the way to go. They pay up front and are solid
At some point (probably after 2030), there’s going to be a reality moment where the real tax-payers who were funding this BS...will have left, and these states will be in serious default on how to fund their mechanism....going to the federal gov’t to cover their problems.
“what do they expect the property owners to do, “
I wonder if WA has a “Castle Law”. Thqt would give the owner options.
Kind of a rhetorical question, but why does Fox News put a Chicago Homeowner video on the Washington state homeowner story? I’ve noticed this in several recent articles. Lame.
And what the hell????
"We don’t know who has a legal right to be on the property and who doesn’t," Hayes continued. "And that’s really kind of an unfortunate thing and it’s not unique to Washington state from what I understand but when it comes down to the Landlord Tenant Act and the civil aspect of tenancy or residency, law enforcement can’t just walk out to a property and say, yes, you belong here and you don’t."
This makes absolutely no sense.
Yes.
This is when you ask God for a solution, like the house be struck by lightning and burn to the ground.... after making sure the insurance is paid..
tie a big white balloon to it...
