This was on purpose, just like the hundreds of food processing plants burned to the ground, and the chicken factory farms.
These people are serious.
They truly want us dead.

It’s occurred to me that two such extremely different views (woke versus common sense) cannot survive long together... ergo this hastening of events. So, I tend to agree with you.

Pain’s not being felt enough for anyone to care. People are forking over more money for food and foregoing other amenities like streaming services.
Until we’re to a point where people have to literally choose between rent and food, they’ll continue to destroy us. There’s no motivation for anyone to do anything rash. People still have something left to lose, so they’ll make do so as to not rock the boat (or get audited by the IRS).
