No less than four threads on Free Republic allege that Governor DeSantis has received an endorsement from George Soros.
Almost all reference a 0:47 video that has been making the rounds on social media.
Here's the complete 2:41 video, transcribed by myself.
First, he cut their taxes. Second, he nominated to the Supreme Court ideologues who embraced an extreme version of the Republican agenda. Third, he put the Republican Party under his control by threatening those who didn't swear loyalty to him with a challenge in the primaries. Lastly, he encouraged Republican-controlled states to introduce outrageous measures of voter suppression to ensure that his party would remain in power indefinitely. With that program, he was almost re-elected in 2020. My hope for 2024 is that Trump and Governor DeSantis of Florida will slug it out for the Republican nomination. Trump has turned into a pitiful figure, continually bemoaning his loss in 2020. Big Republican donors are abandoning him in droves. DeSantis is shrewd, ruthless, and ambitious. He's likely to be the Republican candidate. This could induce Trump, whose narcissism has turned into a disease, to run as a third party candidate. That would lead to a Democratic landslide and force the Republican party to reform itself. But perhaps I may be just a little bit biased." Soros hopes that DeSantis wins the primary, Trump mounts a third party challenge, and the Republican Party, in its current form, is destroyed.
Not exactly a glowing endorsement.

That's BS. I supported Trump enthusiastically in 2016 and in 2020 and I've got a posting history here to back it up.
I'm not supporting him now because he's too old and has no path to the White House. He will lose in 2024.
I'm tired of voting for losers.
And Ron DeSantis is the better candidate, younger, far more conservative (and effectively conservative). He's getting the stuff done that Trump only tweeted about doing.
And, most importantly, he knows how to not only get re-elected but get re-elected in a landslide.
So if you want to keep sending Democrats to Washington, keep supporting Trump because that's the only thing he's good at doing lately.
And take that "Never-Trumper" BS and shove it.
Soros then desperately hopes that Trump mounts a third party challenge to ensure the defeat of both men because the last thing George Soros wants is President Ron DeSantis.

There is no way a thinking person would think this is Soros endorsing DeSantis.
I was watching the Alex Jones show today, and he took callers almost the entire 3 hours. I usually cant listen to Alex for that long any more, but since it was all callers plus a long segment with Jack Posobeic, I hung in there.
The Soros subject came up a lot, and all of the callers seemed angered that some were trying to claim what Sosros said serves as any sort of endorsement of DeSantis. They were literally mad at the obviously bogus narrative that is trying to be spun by articles like the one on Gateway Pundit.
Maybe they were all hand picked to say that, as Jones kept agreeing with them, over and over, but what was the most interesting thing was how many kept calling and bringing it up. Probably ended up being the #1 topic of the day.

Then, he wasn’t done.. he endorsed every leader in the GOP who agreed with him on all of the big government control he led the country into.
"Sore loser" laws would deny Trump ballot access in several states, as many as forty, I believe.
Nonetheless, he could mount a write-in campaign. I don't think there's any law that prevents people from simply writing his name in.
Of course he won't win but to Trump it would no longer be about winning, but rather burning the whole place down.
Personally, I don't think Trump would do this. Not only would it earn him the animosity of millions of his former supporters but at some point he would like a Republican in the White House to help shut down the various kangaroo court investigations that are draining his time and resources. And perhaps invite him to attend his official portrait unveiling.
I don't think Trump will run third party. This is Soros' and Democrats' wishful thinking. I believe if it gets to the point where the primaries aren't going his way and the writing is on the wall, he'll drop out with dignity and to save face for "health reasons" and then back the GOP frontrunner (taking credit if he wins, of course, but that's a minor indulgence to pay).

The American Establishment has a history of rigging elections, they’re very good at it.
My prediction is the 2024 election will be close like elections have been since 2016. The difference is they’ll flip some of those swing states away from Biden.
The key is Harris, if Biden runs and Harris is still on the ticket the election will be a Republican victory. Harris “The Dope” isn’t Presidential material.

Someone did a great job of illustrating George Soros' true allegiance to the dark side. They superimposed the dark robes and lightening bolts over footage of Soros as he was commenting about Trump, and supporting De Santis. The sound track is Soros speaking along with the 'Dark Side' soundtrack from the original movie series Star Wars.
