Former President Donald Trump's campaign is examining ways to win over the mail-in vote after the Democrats' performance in the 2020 presidential and 2022 midterm elections. The Wall Street Journal reports that Trump's staff is examining state laws on absentee and mail-in voting, as well as ballot harvesting techniques.
Trump, who was famously critical of mail-in votes following the 2020 election, is changing his tune following comments by some GOP 2024 presidential hopefuls, like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, who have criticized the party for not capitalizing on opportunities in recent elections by focusing too much on Election Day turnout.
The change of heart can be observed in a Trump fundraising email released earlier this week which read, "The radical Democrats have used ballot harvesting to cancel out YOUR vote and walk away with elections that they NEVER should have won. But I’m doing something HUGE to fight back.”
He continued: “Our path forward is to MASTER the Democrats’ own game of harvesting ballots in every state we can. But that also means we need to start laying the foundation for victory RIGHT NOW.”
Trump told Breitbart News in December that the GOP has to "live with the system that stinks" but maintained that "a mail-in ballot will always be corrupt," and that Republicans need to look for ways to make elections more secure.
Other Republicans have noted that the GOP simply needs to use whatever tools available to win over voters and that the Republican National Committee is looking into the issue following the midterms last November.
Roughly 60 percent of Democrats voted by mail in 2020 compared to 30 percent of Republicans.

If you can’t beat ‘em, ...
This could put an end to COVID.
If you can’t beat ‘em, ... cheat ‘em!.................
Republicans should insist on voter registration kiosks and ballot collection boxes in the back of every church, every country club, every bowling alley, every gun range...
“This could put an end to COVID.”
True.
Seems this is the way now….since nobody wants to pick up rifles and fight for real election integrity.
Every Harbor Freight and Ace Hardware......................
Not only ballot harvesting, grave digging.
I despise anything to do with early voting and ail in ballots, but I’m also smart enough to know that until we regain solid conservative American control, we’re stuck with that crap. Thus, we must embrace it and figure out ways to outthink the left.
At the end of the day, they are stupid so that shouldn’t be hard.
As soon as Republicans start to cheat in significant numbers, Democrats will scream for Election Integrity.
This is where Trump is brilliant.
He’s going to make the Left defend their corruption, try to explain it, or talk about ending it (because he claims he will use it).
The only way to win against the left is to cheat at least as much as them...
Thing is, they’ve been developing new cheating methods while our side is just getting warmed up to the idea. It will take some special intelligence to catch up.
What a banana republic we’ve become.
Yep.
If Trump tries this they will simply sic hoards of prosecutors and FBI agents on these Trump election workers. They will arrest them and throw them in jail maybe without a trial like Jan. 6 defendants. There is no way to peacefully dislodge America’s junta government.
The Democrats keep telling us how good it is.
Let’s see them try to said otherwise now.
Maybe it’s only OK for democrats.
THIS IS A BRILLIANT MOVE (he may not really be for it- but watch them try to argue against it now)
They should.
Let’s see how fast Dems change their tune on Voter ID... :-)

Republicans will NEVER EVER out-harvest the democrats unless they promise to give more freebies. Those unmotivated parasites will not vote otherwise. They only vote for those who give them free drugs, free phones, free abortions, etc. How can the GOP compete with that? The welfare bums outnumber the producer class. Good luck funding the government when the dollars reserve currency goes bust.
