These idiots have got this electric car thing so screwed up. Put the cord on the car. The charging station then is just a receptacle. That way the cords don’t get stolen. Oh, and make the cars fast charging with a range of 500 miles.
Ha haa that will never happen, especially if you want heat or AC!!

It isn’t ignorance.

One of the key features of American freedom is mobility.

This is an attempt to eliminate American mobility, creating serfs within the US out of those no longer able to travel.

I am re-reading Frank Herbert’s “God Emperor of Dune,” published in 1981.

In the novel, God Emperor Leto II observes that “people who must walk everywhere are easier to control.”

Most Americans learn how to drive in high school.

Who is going to teach them how to maintain a horse???

What zoning laws will have to change for everyone to have their horse at home?????

If electric vehicles were cheap in price, they might be useful for driving around town close to home. Like a scooter.

“They’re pushing us to a ration society they control! Total serfdom!”

The elites, who want to control our world/lives, life’s choices are pushing us into a controlled/rationed society.

They will control: Where, you live, work, what you eat, what you wear and where and when you try to relax by the end of this decade.

All of the above will be part of their so called war on Global Warming. Like most of their wars for centuries.

Their wars not ours, even if we or loved ones die fighting for their often hidden goals.

So, welcome to: Total $erfdom, planned and controlled by the elites, who never won nor lost an election!

Ford’s first car, his Model T, set the elites back by “Over a century”!!!! Re total control of us, here and around the world.

Our parents and Grandparents for most of their lives never stopped having their own vehicles and controlling their lives via the cars/trucks/vehicles they owned and maintained.

The EV is a boondoogle is the media expects to see us all driving around in an EV.

The combustion engine is the best invention ever and yes it is dependent on gasoline to power it and generations of Americans can afford it right now.

This dumbass POTUS is telling us that we must buy an EV and I am telling him that he is full of dung.

First of all, whenever the EV car needs a battery replacement it will cost a fortune. Check it out.

Americans do not have that kind of money too buy an EV and only the really wealthy people can afford an EV car.

Just look at all the inventions of the internal combustion engine and it is amazing that it is mind boggling.

The long game here is to weaken the sense that we are all one nation. Less intercourse (c’mon man, be adult) among the many states, esp. between Blue and Red. No more road trips with the kids to see Mt Rushmore, Grand Canyon, etc.

“You vill have to stick to the pre-ordained approved routes for your e-Cars!”

‘Electric car road trips are perfectly doable — if you plan ahead’ is a prime example of leftists celebrating their own ignorance...

Democrat 'elites' don't have real jobs so they have plenty of time to 'plan' for a long trip... or course they fly private or first class so it's not an issue for them anyhow...

When it is the proper time, Elon Musk will answer the electricity charging question.

I think the answer will be small nuclear generators that are both cheap and ready.

They won’t “take them away” per se, they’ll just make it too costly for the common folks to have them.
