The Biden administration is supporting a Washington, D.C., Council bill that would give illegal immigrants and other non-citizens, including—wait for it-- members of the Chinese Communist Party residing in the city, the right to vote in local elections.
What could go wrong?
Fortunately, Sens. Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Katie Britt (R-AL), are urging the Senate to take up a joint resolution that would stop the bill from advancing.
The House of Representatives already has passed a (bipartisan!) resolution of disapproval of the D.C. Council bill.
Prior to the House's measure, however, the Biden administration issued a memo stating its support for the Council's bill and its opposition to the House resolution, which it called a denial of "true self-governance."
The memo also stated that the District of Columbia "deserves statehood."
Were the D.C. Council bill to somehow pass into law, who the hell couldn’t vote? (You know the Biden administration and most Democrats would love it if MAGA types, devout Christians, and assorted other conservatives were not allowed to vote. They have made that abundantly clear.)
Talk about election integrity! Many Democrats want to allow felons to vote. Minors, too -- there are proposals afoot to let 16-year-olds vote.
Coincidentally, they tend to share a mindset and maturity level with Democrats, and an affinity for socialism…so they would vote overwhelmingly for Democrats.
Democrats will do anything they think they can get away with to negate the votes of the majority of American citizens who do not reside on either coast. That explains their additional call to end the electoral college.
If literally anyone/everyone else in the world were allowed to vote in our elections, what the hell would be the point of voting for the rest of us?!

Which suits Democrats just fine……in their attempt to “save our democracy.”
Does everyone get a balloon ?
Democrats are called ‘the crazies’ for a reason...
Elections are won or lost on the paths of balloons once fraud is legal
Yet ANOTHER reason that the US Gov facilities need to be taken out of DC and distributed all over the country.
Give DC back to Va and Md.
Watch dc swamp critters applaud and yell, “Hide Me”
The logical extension is to let anyone on the planet vote in our elections. Why not? Don’t America’s policies affect the entire world?
Let’s print millions of ballots and place them in the unused newspaper boxes that dot our cities. That way people who suffer disproportionately can vote over and over again.
It works in the NBA all star team selection process. Why not American elections?
Only chance to stop this kind of thing is to hope it gets appealed to SCOTUS before the court gets packed.
RE: Only chance to stop this kind of thing is to hope it gets appealed to SCOTUS before the court gets packed.
Doesn’t it have to go through the slow, winding process of the lower courts first, before it gets to the SCOTUS?
I’m surprised they didn’t get to this in the first two years of the Biden administration, when they could have rammed it through with their two-house majority.
Biden will do anything to distract from his family’s criminal woes and maybe win the support of the Democrat power elite.
I live in Virginia. That means that I’m not a legal resident of DC. Do I still get to vote there?
Why residing in the city? Why not anyone, anywhere who wishes to vote for DC candidates!
And cats.
Why not let the world vote in US elections ,LOL
There are those who actually support that idea.
If members of the animal kingdom are given the right to vote, the Green party candidate will become our next president! Maybe I should share the YouTube video where Ralph Nader consulted a parrot on how to make himself more popular.
