Takeaway from the video:
The government doesn't know what we're dealing with at this time
These objects are not new. They've been around a long time, at least since 2017 ("last week we were told 2019").
Here's a quote from transcript at the 4:14 mark at youtube:
"What I took away from from the briefing today more than so than the briefing last week is that this has been going on for a long, long time, at at least 2017 and last week we were told 2019, um, that's what I took away from today. Thanks guys appreciate it...LOCK YOUR DOORS TONIGHT.""We have unity and confusion, yeah, lock your doors."
One of the best and brightest.
Oh, I think part of everyone’s little ol’ thinker is meandering in that direction.
“Be careful to to make it look like a baited field.”
Wonder what these critters eat?
Oh come on anyone can see what this was. Biden was embarrassed because he ALLOWED a Chinese balloon to spy on us. He ALLOWED it. And now the fedgov is just pretending that there are SO many objects up there that it’s too hard to keep track of all of them. Please.
He seems like he just jokes around.
I guess you’ve never seen him grill a radical judicial or other nominee...
Also after watching this it seems as if Kennedy said anything about what they really were they would be revealing state secrets. So basically it’s STILL spy balloons...now they just won’t admit where they came from publicly.
Biden is being blackmailed. The dumshit walked right into the Chinese trap years ago out of greed and hubris for money. He is totally compromised and in stark terror that China will expose him if he doesn’t toe the line. Count on it.
That was my first reaction as well.
Even though UFOs had been a “hobby” of mine for decades I totally dismissed the 2017 NYT articles, Harry Reid and Elizondo—until last year.
That was when Congress began to take some specific actions to deal with the issue.
They added whistleblower language to the Defense Authorization Act—which is a solid first step to getting to the “good stuff”.
Congressman Gallagher then showed some real courage by putting the Wilson/Davis memo in the Congressional Record:
https://www.congress.gov/117/meeting/house/114761/documents/HHRG-117-IG05-20220517-SD001.pdf
This document gave Congressional investigators all the bread crumbs they need to get to the bottom of what Stanton Friedman used to call the “Cosmic Watergate”.
If you want a Deep Dive on this stuff (300+ pages) this is where to look:

Harry Reid knows he is a slimy crook—but he wants to leave a legacy other than being the mob’s senator from Nevada.
As to Elizondo—I think he just got fed up with the Pentagon clowns—couldn’t take it any more.
GOP Senators like John Kennedy would be closer to the situation and his speculation would be closer to the mark. Yet Sen Kennedy was admittedly confused.
If Kennedy thought this was a cover for Biden's bumbling, he wouldn't hesitate to say so.
I don't think he was confused. I think he was saying that the information they allowed to be released results in confusion . I think there's a lot they're not allowed to say....cause you know, national security.
(2:19 mark) The only thing I feel confident saying right now is that if you are confused you understand the situation perfectly.
Regarding the remnants of the objects that were shot down, Kennedy says, “They’re lost, we can’t find them.”
He’s southern and dumb like a fox. No man’s fool.
His "jokes" are telling you what is really going on.
yes!
I don’t hear him talk about issues.
I can’t overcome my deep suspicion of Elizondo. (Reid is dead, now.)
Congress beginning to ‘take some specific actions’ could have to do with a number of things.
(I don’t rule anything out of possibility, but ET folks flying in to see us in nuts-and-bolts vehicles, little ET bodies embalmed in secret facilities, Earth being secretly ruled by superior aliens, etc., seem so unlikely to me as to verge on the laughable. I would be concerned that this has to do with much more likely - and more worrying - things.)
At the simplest interpretation, Elizondo is extremely credulous; or has found a way to garner money and fame. I don’t believe the first at all, and the second may just be a perk.
Dumb people should never play sophisticated games...
I have read (and own) more than a hundred books on this topic—and I am convinced that there are non-human intelligent creatures roaming around on Planet Three—and we are not the top of the technological pecking order.
I encourage you to look at the links I gave you—these are solid folks who have done the hard work for many years.
This is about a lot more than one late Senator and one Pentagon employee.
