The thing I find fascinating is the fact that while nearly all issues regarding WWII have been settled, WWI and its issues are still biting us in the rear end today.

This is ironic as the proxy war NATO is fighting against Russia, using Ukrainian bodies, is intended to force regime change. So NATO and our CIA/STATE Department helped overthrow the Ukrain in 2014, installed their puppet, built up the Ukrainian army and provoked war - all to force regime change on Russia so they could finally control that nation TOO, and their main screeching is ‘He started it!”

Wrong. NATO existed because of the Soviet Union, not Russia.
If that were true, why did the Democrats allow them to even remain in existence, let alone assist their citizens after their government could no longer provide for them? Why didn't they break up Russia even more than what resulted by the breakup of the Soviet Union? Apparently, Belarus disagrees that all of Russia's neighboring countries and want no part of it.
But the truth is that NATO is doing very little, and as is the norm with them, they rely on the citizens of the US to foot the cost of Europe's military needs for security. You being a Canadian means that you can talk tough without any of the burden the debts incur upon our children.
What exactly has Canada done for Ukraine?
Following the Revolution of Dignity in early 2014, Ukraine’s government committed to implementing democratic and economic reforms in line with its European aspirations. Russian aggression, which started in 2014 with the illegal invasion and occupation of Crimea, has drawn Ukraine into a bloody conflict in the east of the country. This conflict has placed significant pressure on the Ukrainian government’s ability to carry out its reforms.
Since the beginning of the crisis, we have led international support for the people of Ukraine. We supported Ukraine in its initial fight for democracy and reform. We continue to support Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia’s illegal occupation of Crimea and its support for insurgents in eastern Ukraine. In coordination with partners and allies, we have imposed sanctions against hundreds of Russian and Ukrainian individuals and entities.
Canada is committed to using its international assistance to support Ukraine’s goals for greater Euro-Atlantic integration. We also support securing Ukraine’s future as a democratic, rules-based state that delivers security, prosperity and freedom for all of its citizens.
Since January 2014, we have committed more than $890 million in multi-faceted support to Ukraine, using a range of instruments. These instruments include:
development, humanitarian and financial assistance

The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, today announced that Canada will be imposing additional sanctions under the Special Economic Measures (Russia) Regulations and the Special Economic Measures (Ukraine) Regulations. These new actions, which build on the measures announced on February 22, include:
Imposing restrictions on 58 additional Russian individuals and entities, including banks, financial elites and their families;
Sanctioning members of the Russian Security Council, including the Defence Minister, the Finance Minister, and the Justice Minister;
Imposing restrictions on four Ukrainian individuals for their collaboration with Russia to destabilize Ukraine; and Restricting exports to Russia by halting new export permit applications and cancelling valid export permits, with a limited number of exceptions for critical medical supply chains.
The Prime Minister also announced that Canada will take additional and immediate measures to support Ukrainians and people residing in Ukraine, and to make it easier and faster for Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and their accompanying immediate family members to return to Canada. These new measures include:
Establishing a dedicated service channel for Ukraine enquiries on immigration. This will be available for clients both in Canada and abroad at 613-321-4243, with collect calls accepted. In addition, clients can now add the keyword “Ukraine2022” in their email enquiry, which will prioritize their email;
Urgent processing of travel documents, including issuing single-journey travel documents for immediate family members of Canadian citizens and permanent residents who do not have valid passports;
Ensuring that Ukrainians currently in Canada are able to extend their stay or work longer in Canada by prioritizing the renewal of work and study permits; Issuing open work permits to Ukrainian visitors, workers, and students who are currently in Canada and cannot go home; and
Waiving fees for travel and immigration documents, such as for Canadian passports, permanent resident travel documents, proofs of citizenship, visitor visas and work and study permits.

Ah yes, so easy for a Canadian "conservative" to be a warmonger when someone else is paying for it. Oh, I know, we are a rich nation much richer than Canada.
Well, that's a fable, for we are 31.5 trillion dollars in debt (what you gave to Ukraine is less than what we pay in interest only debt payments yearly).
On top of that we are well over a 100 trillion in unfunded liabilities.
We are no longer a rich nation.
We are nothing more than a gigantic debtor nation, thanks to our leaders deciding we should pay so that they can enjoy the hegemony with the power to push other nation's around.
Most of our allies hate us as a result. Both Russia & China want to destroy us, and our involvement is only helping them to achieve their desired goal.

NATO was created on April 4th, 1949.
The Soviet Union existed from the years of 1922-1991. Their growth occurred between 1922 until 1940.
It was agreed upon by the Allies that the Soviet Union would control east Germany. No expansion of the Soviet Union, other than east Germany during the tensions arising from the Cold War, occurred in 1949. That was the trigger that created NATO. So, for 42 years NATO had a role to play, and it was successful.
However, when the Soviet Union dissolved due to monetary insolvency, the need for NATO really ceased to be relevant. Its relevance was only kept alive by dishonest claims that Russia itself was now the problem, since the Soviet Union no longer existed.
Putin offered for Russia to become a part of NATO and remove the threats of regeneration of the Soviet Union. That offer was rejected. Now we have pushed Russia together with China.
One major mistake of epic proportions.
If you are going to argue on a topic, I suggest that you at least read up on the subject.
Moldova is part of Romania. They’ll be better off if the Romanians move in and take over. Let Transnistria return to Russia.
Agree. Should join Romania with a few border adjustments to get rid of Russians and Ukrainians. Another silly country like the FYROM.
