President Biden fired Architect of the Capitol Brett Blanton on Monday, a White House official told The Hill, following outrage over an inspector general report that found Blanton misused a government vehicle and allegedly impersonated a law enforcement officer.
“After doing our due diligence, the Architect of Capitol was terminated at the President’s direction,” the official said. The president’s move comes just hours after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) called for Blanton to step down or be removed by Biden.
House Administration Committee Chairman Bryan Steil (R-Wis.) and ranking member Joseph Morelle (D-N.Y.) had also called for the resignation of the Architect of the Capitol, who oversees the Capitol complex’s building maintenance, preservation and development.

Blanton was appointed by Trump.
So now they can put in somebody who clicks off one?, two?, three? or more privileged classes?
He should prosecute all the Capitol Police enablers from Jan 6.

Biden and his disciples of deceit in D.C., find some obscure idiot they can dump on for the cameras...Throw the bone and the easily distracted mutts run after it. Cause a diversion away from Commander Chucko. Show the cup droolers you go after corruption when you see it! Then announce you shot down another mysterious object, to keep those in the in TV land distracted.

Additionally, Blanton had been improperly identified as an off-duty police officer during an incident in which he chased down a hit-and-run that happened outside his residence.
He had denied misrepresenting himself as law enforcement, saying that it was a mistake on the part of Fairfax County Police after Blanton identified himself as a “Capitol Police Board Member.”
$14K is admittedly a lot of personal use for a Company car but not much in the grand scheme of things that Biden does. I’ll bet lots of people are guilty of this “crime”. It sounds like he was targeted and they found this Company car crime.
The misrepresentation charge sounds like the fault of the Fairfax county police.
All of it sounds like small change stuff compared to the Capitol police murder for which justice never occurred.
Our congresscritters don’t misuse government vehicles? Not even when they hire Chinese spies as drivers?
I would be very surprised if there are any legislators who didn’t misuse government planes, cars, etc.
It would be interesting to check out that hit and run...and see if it was just random or if that could have been an attempt to intimidate or harm him that went wrong. When did it occur? Was the perp caught, and identified?
