How Many Republicans Died Because the GOP Turned Against Vaccines?
The Atlantic ^ | Yasmin Tayag

Party leaders are unquestionably complicit in the premature deaths of their own supporters.

No country has a perfect COVID-vaccination rate, even this far into the pandemic, but America’s record is particularly dismal. About a third of Americans—more than a hundred million people—have yet to get their initial shots. You can find anti-vaxxers in every corner of the country. But by far the single group of adults most likely to be unvaccinated is Republicans: 37 percent of Republicans are still unvaccinated or only partially vaccinated, compared with 9 percent of Democrats. Fourteen of the 15 states with the lowest vaccination rates voted for Donald Trump in 2020. (The other is Georgia.)

We know that unvaccinated Americans are more likely to be Republican, that Republicans in positions of power led the movement against COVID vaccination, and that hundreds of thousands of unvaccinated Americans have died preventable deaths from the disease. The Republican Party is unquestionably complicit in the premature deaths of many of its own supporters, a phenomenon that may be without precedent in the history of both American democracy and virology.

No, I am just conservative and Constitutonialist and unwilling to change. Someday, you may be glad conservatives are still out there, even if you bash us today. Just like someday, you may be glad unvaccinated people are out there.

They all should face the consequences for their actions. From Mr Operation Warp Speed: "The vaccine is one of the greatest achievements of mankind," Trump told conservative commentator Candace Owens in an interview on Wednesday. "I came up with a vaccine, with three vaccines all are very, very good," he said in the interview, referring to the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson shots. Donald “Operation Warp Speed” Trump

They all will face the consequences ... I would say having an election stolen was a huge consequences ... You see, the steal for the second Catholic president is not going away without consequences .... I will not vote for a neocon or a catholic again. Saint Desantis is playing on the dark side pretending he is NOT running for president , while all along he has been doing that very thing.

The “vaccines” have turned out to be anti-vaccines which may have screwed up the immune systems of everyone who drank the Kool-aid!

Science is ever evolving, full of unproven theories .. like evolution...

Yes, but that's not the "science" of today, where science is "settled," and scientists need to be bullied into, "thinking what is right." And science should find what the money wants it to. Groupthink and hubris are the enemy of science.

Got my Vax and boosters, glad I did as we lost a family member 10 years my senior to covid.

Not sure why Trump let RFK Jr. through the door at all, given that he said nasty things about Trump. Also not sure why self-professed MAGA Republicans kept up the acquaintance but whatever.

Yes, bash Catholics that the media hates. Biden is less Catholic than Obama.

What are you talking about. Trump PREFERS people who said nasty things about Trump. Look at his hiring.

What did you losing a family member (my condolences) have to do with you getting vaccinated?

Ha, todays 'conservatives' are concerned about their own personal principal, (that means their bank account), while out singing the words of 'conservative principles'. These 'Constitutionalists' will carry around the Constitution like it belongs to them personally... secretly they will sell US out to the highest bidder.. Truth is rather rare these days, and obviously the Heavenly Father sent US Biden to show any who would, just how ignorant they are ... sold their souls to the devil.

The vax wasn’t necessary for those between infancy and 40s. To the contrary, it was effectively useless poison that killed many.

Very well stated. Bears repeating.

The Covid jab pushers flew under cover of prior vaccine success to sell their unproven product, saying “Oh! But CRISPR and Gene Arrays!” And assorted rot. I and others trained and experienced in the related R&D field knew it takes 5 to 10 years to shake out a jab in testing. The pharma gangsters saw $$$ and fear as an opportunity to get at the Fed Dollar plandemic buffet.

It’s worse.

We have billionaire psychopaths that think they know better:

You both left out Vitamin D. People who were hospitalized were overwhelmingly low in Vitamin D, and people who were in the upper limit of Vitamin D were hospitalized vanishingly rarely.

For him it’s a vehicle to get a Kennedy back in the national politics game. If it was this it would be something else.
