The reason is very simple. When I worked for a government funded outfit, I was never going to jeopardize the amazing pay and benefits by rattling the cage. 99% of FBI agents probably in the same boat. Don’t want to give up the amazing income.

I disagree. At least some FBI agents have done great things fighting sex trafficking of minors DESPITE the ruling Democrat party’s fondness for molesting children.
