Canada's Defence Minister Anita Anand would not speculate on where the object came from.
She described it as cylindrical in shape but said it was smaller than the Chinese balloon shot down off the coast of South Carolina in the US a week ago.
It was flying at 40,000ft and posed a risk to civilian air traffic when it was brought down about 100 miles from the border at 3.41pm EST (8.41pm GMT), she added.

I would think that if it was another “weather” barroon that we shot down, the chinamen would be up in arms about it. So far....not a peep.

For a cylindrical object to remain aloft at 40,000 feet it would somehow need to generate lift. So it would have to be stabilized or maneuverable and traveling at a very high rate of speed to remain at the altitude. I think this is all fake news to take the publics attention of the failed communist leaders in the US and Canada.
Where is the camera footage?
Joe has this image of himself as a cool guy who is totally in command. The fiasco with the first balloon will probably be exploited by a Republican challenger in 2024, so he ordered the military to gin up some targets in the same area that it entered our airspace to show he has it covered in the hopes we will forget about his fecklessness and indecisiveness.
Sadly, we probably will.
The one shot down over Alaska was described as silver and cylindrical. I wonder if it had GOODYEAR on the side.
