When Super Bowl LVII arrives on Sunday, Fox is prepared to broadcast hours and hours of the event, with all of the usual trappings — except, perhaps, one.
With just three days to go before the Kansas City Chiefs square off against the Philadelphia Eagles at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the White House has yet to commit to the traditional interview between the President of the United States and the news division of the media company broadcasting the gridiron classic, potentially shunning a conversation that would be seen by one of TV’s biggest audiences.
Fox News attached no conditions to the exchange according to a person familiar with the matter, which has been a staple of the event (more or less) since President Barack Obama started doing it in 2009.
A final decision has yet to be announced, and there is still a chance the conversation could take place. But executives at Fox News are proceeding as if it will not, according to the person familiar with the situation, given that the White House has declined to commit all week. Announcements about a Super Bowl interview with the president are usually finalized five or more days ahead of the event.

“Doctor Jill” will do the interview. I imagine Newsweak has already started to round up enough witnesses to testify that the crowd DIDN’T “boo” the doctor. They’ve been able to pull it off already twice.
Did the Drooler do it last year? This would be the second SB since his installation.
Afraid of being grilled by Brett Baier.
They shouldn’t have scheduled the super bowl so close to the State of the Union. He’s in his oxygen tank drinking the blood of babies for the next month.
I’d be surprised if they didn’t bend to a pre-recorded “interview”.
Scheduling conflict. Sorry! That’s when Mr.Biden is penciled in for his
“Pre-Nap”, which is always followed by a “Deep-Nap” using virtually no medication, followed by a Yoga break. //
Nope, sorry. The weekends are for Joe’s medical staff to apply more spit, duct tape and baling wire to the president’s mouldering corpse.
CC
He doesn’t care about voters. He knows who counts the votes!
It’s happening on PBS I hear
Because vegetable!
If we’re lucky they’ll interview a mummy.
It would make a lot more sense.
He already did his only softball interview
“President Barack Obama started doing it in 2009” -— One positive about Biden, is he is not everyday on camera like that silly Obama. It was too much.
When is the Superbowl again?
I would love to see Mark Levin interview Biden.
Who gives a F***?
I think it already did.
“When is the Superbowl again?”
Well it used to be right around the 28th of January give or take a day or two and I always remember that because before the NFL expansion the Super Bowl always fell around my birthday and we had combination birthday/Super Bowl parties back when America was Mom and apple pie.
But now I get cornfused. I thought it was last weekend, but it wasn’t although I did watch some highlights of the flag football Pro Bowl which was kind of cool actually... sort of reminding me of my days on the college green throwing around the pig skin with our neckties tucked into our belts, mind you this is when you actually wore neckties to college... that’s how long ago it was.
So be prepared! If you need any groceries you might want to get in there early today because the Super Bowl Shoppers will suck up all the dip all the salsa and all of the chips along with chicken wings, sour cream, burger meat, pasta noodles, mayonaise and other nosh that has made Super Bowl Sunday the 2nd or 3rd largest feast day in America, next to Obama’s beloved “Turkey day” but I wax digressively...
By becoming the a top tier large feast day in America it has effectively become yet another mercantile holiday; but that’s capitalism right?
I wonder if the superbowl has its own hallmark greeting card yet?
Just sayin’
Fine. Interview President Donald Trump then.
