We were fortunate here in NH.
There was initially lockdowns and some masking mandates, but the exceptions for the masking mandates were so generous that more people would be exempt from it, than required to wear one.
We also opened up early on probably among the earliest of states and yet nobody noticed. The case rate etc. was pretty low so that helped while everyone was focused on grandma killer cuomo.
Then there was just the Live Free or Die NH mentality.
Several places simply refused to comply and when some busybody reported them to the state and the state officially sent someone to address it, they refused to comply and that was the end of it.
Now we’re to the point where you can tell someone’s political affiliation by whether they wear a mask or not.
Leftists live in terror of a cold virus that is most like none existent in the area. Now the only ones left who wear the masks are virtue signaling leftists or older people and leftists who live in terror of the virus.
