The biggest of the evening’s few spontaneous moments came when the president claimed that “some Republicans want Medicare and Social Security to sunset every five years. When a person abandons his Christian, Catholic, or Jewish faith heritage (or substitutes a communist materialistic ideology supposedly “within” their parents’ or grandparents’ faiths),
They often slide all the way to the opposite extreme — advocating against the church or synagogue or America or Israel — and opposing almost all of the core moral teachings. They don’t merely set their faith heritages down and walk away. They replace them with “faith” in the worst possible evils.
We see it in Nancy Pelosi every day. We see it in Biden very often. We see it in sone people still carrying the “Jewish names” of their ancestors (who almost always were good sincere believers). These folks might attend church or synagogue. They might - like Prlosi - even pilgrimage to the Vatican. But all the while, what they stand hot and what they work for is evil.
Why they couldn’t just quietly walk away if they no longer believed ? Why go they feel compelled to turn themselves into, for lack of a better term, Satsn’s foot soldiers on earth ?
