I have to correct my earlier posts about her speech. In all truthfulness, I missed the first 30 seconds to a 1 minute because I was doing something else. Then I fell asleep briefly in the middle and then at the end. So I heard the part about wokeness and the beginning of her story about going to Iraq and it seemed OK through the eyes/ears of a half-asleep person. I watched the whole thing today while wide awake and I am not so happy with Sarah right now. She seemed to throw President Trump under the bus—first about the reference to Joe being “old” it also was a dig at Pres. Trump (she said we need young people—like her, I guess) and then she didn’t even mention his name during the Iraq story—just “the President”. Trump did her father, Hucksterbee, a favor by hiring her—plucking her out of obscurity—and that is how she repays him??? Plus, what about the economy, China, Ukraine?
Additionally, I had hard time hearing her. I know she just had thyroid cancer, but it was tough to make out some of her words.
The jury’s still out in my mind. I hope that she is not on Team Paul Ryan or Romney or McConnell. Would be very disappointing.
