The GEC mission is described as, “To direct, lead, synchronize, integrate, and coordinate U.S. Federal Government efforts to recognize, understand, expose, and counter foreign state and non-state propaganda and disinformation efforts aimed at undermining or influencing the policies, security, or stability of the United States, its allies, and partner nations,” (link). However, when you overlay the expanded Dept of State mission that Obama delivered, transferring GEC intent to domestic operations, suddenly the background of Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop makes sense. Readers here are so far ahead of the curve on this story, it’s kind of cool, funny, and yet frustrating at the same time. Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop is all a wild conspiracy theory born from the oddly wired brain of some dude in the corner of the internet; until suddenly it’s not.
Factually, it has been staring at everyone since the operation began in 2011, yet no one was willing to believe it. Apparently, Elon Musk is starting to realize what is inside the communication platform he purchased.
For several years CTH has been outlining the relationship between DHS and social media. Currently, the headlines are filled with stories about Twitter and revelations of censorship and government influence coming from the purchase of the platform by Elon Musk. However, as I said from the outset of this new moment, I promise you things are not what they seem.

Actually engagement is the replacement phrase for webmasters. Master being a heinous word in the age of the kenyan, now instead of webmasters we have directors of engagement.
When my mom worked at the State Department 75 years ago the “McCarthy Era” when Communists were said to work there she was not a Communist.
But today a lot of folks there seem to be in tune with Marx and Lenin IMHO.
And it’s not new, just hidden for decades…
Unfortunately, Musk’s Twitter revelations are having about as much impact as Hannity tick-tock bombshell teases from a few years ago.
Because congress doesn’t do appropriations for department spending bills. Omnibus spending bills fuel this crap.
Yes, but I think its been that way for a long time.
The Government is engaged in 5th gen warfare against its enemies. Guess who the enemy is? The sad sack that doesn’t know he’s even in a conflict.... us.

Omits Reference To Muslim Terrorism
The White House announced Friday afternoon that it is launching an inter-agency task force to counter the sharp growth in violent extremism in America, according to an announcement.
As senior members of the Obama administration’s national security team meet with technology leaders in Silicon Valley, the White House’s National Security Council announced that the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security would team up to launch a Countering Violent Extremism Task Force, according to the announcement.
The White House background document accompanying the announcement does contain any specific reference to the types of “violent extremism” the administration seeks to counter.
The State Department additionally is set to launch a Global Engagement center that will “to place an intensified focus on empowering and enabling the voices of international partners, governmental and non-governmental, and shift away from direct messaging,” according to the White House.
Without mentioning Muslim terrorism by name, the White House said that these efforts are being taken in the wake of terrorist attacks in France and San Bernardino California.
The meetings with technology leaders in Silicon Valley are aimed at supplementing this effort, according to the White House.
The government and private sector partnership “will allow us to place an intensified focus on empowering and enabling the voices of international partners, governmental and non-governmental, and shift away from direct messaging,” the White House said....

Madame Secretary Clinton was not in the State Department when this agency was created, but I would be shocked if Hillary or her cabal had nothing to do with it. Even the name smells of Clinton.

In addition to the senior CIA, FBI, and DHS officials conducting the training, members of the Muslim community moderated and led the training throughout the 2-day program. Notable among these was Imam Mohammed Magid who participated in speaking about “Building Communities of Trust: A Local Example of a Partnership between the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) and Law Enforcement.”
How was Imam Magid vetted to speak at CIA Headquarters? And who vetted him?
The ADAMS Center is a Muslim Brotherhood front organization.

The Trump administration wants to revamp and rename a U.S. government program designed to counter all violent ideologies so that it focuses solely on Islamist extremism, five people briefed on the matter told Reuters.
The program, “Countering Violent Extremism,” or CVE, would be changed to “Countering Islamic Extremism” or “Countering Radical Islamic Extremism,” the sources said, and would no longer target groups such as white supremacists who have also carried out bombings and shootings in the United States.
Such a change would reflect Trump’s election campaign rhetoric and criticism of former President Barack Obama for being weak in the fight against Islamic State and for refusing to use the phrase “radical Islam” in describing it. Islamic State has claimed responsibility for attacks on civilians in several countries.
