‘There Will Be Planes’ – Ukraine Claims Western Jets Already a Done Deal

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) – Ukraine’s defence minister expressed confidence Sunday that Western allies would agree to the country’s latest weapons request – warplanes to fight off Russian forces that invaded nearly a year ago.

Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov told a news conference in Kyiv that Ukraine has already received everything from its “wish list to Santa,” except planes.

“There will be planes, too,” Reznikov predicted. “The question is just what kind exactly…. Consider that this mission is already completed.”

“You should be ashamed. We have sent them over 100 billion dollars”

You are very naive if you trust the honesty of the Biden regime.

The Bidens took $100 billion in tax dollars, gave Ukraine $10 billion in old junk and pocketed the rest for their friends.

It is easy to see for anyone paying attention. Have you seen American jets, helicopters and tanks fighting the Russians? Nothing in any way expensive has made it into the fight.

Russia and China began work on dedollarization about ten yrs ago.

I believe they also began intense weapon development, esp Russia.

We sat around and watched football thinking we would always be #1 in military.

Now a balloon spends days crossing the country and going over sensitive nuclear areas...and nothing happens.

And we still think we can take on both Russia and China at war.

We have a demented fool at the helm who is going to get us killed.
There are people assisting him. Why?

Only 70% of weapons make it to the battlefield.
the rest is on the blackmarket.

a few months ago you were here telling us that Russian natural gas was somehow “unique” and so Germany couldn’t accept any other countries’ gas, because their systems were all tuned only for Russian gas ... what a crock

so who are you to call anyone retarded when you make idiotic & false statements like that

"so then why are the Russian shills in such a panic?"

Don't know. Maybe it disturbs their world view.

“They made their beds by gettin in bed with the Uniparty traitors.”

Here is where a lack of perspective, or experience outside the US, becomes a problem.

All governments anywhere have to deal with the US. The US is such a huge deal in the world that everyone wants or needs something from the US - or the US wants something from them. Some more than others. ALL of them have to deal with whomever is in charge of the USG at the time. Nobody can avoid the US when its government changes.

Almost all foreign bribery and other skullduggery, btw, is solicited by US politicians and officials. If its a matter of leaning on people, its the Americans that lean on people. The US is the biggest banana republic thats ever been. Its officials are notorious everywhere.

NO government anywhere wants to get caught in a US partisan controversy, because they are likely to be in the crosshairs of the next US government, the press, or public opinion, drummed up from one side or another. Nobody needs that

What happened to Ukraine is that it got caught in these crosshairs because of circumstances - Democrat partisan warfare vs Trump focused on when Trump spoke to Ukrainians - it could just as easily have been Russia or China, in the Biden case. So some unsophisticated (to be kind) people on the pro-Trump side somehow got Ukraine fixed in their minds. Ukraine is an innocent bystander (ok, paying bribes, but still, its SOP) in all this.

EVERYBODY on Earth pays off US officials, directly or indirectly. The Saudis owned the Bushes. The Clintons really were deep in Russian payoff schemes through their foundation. Obama was paid ridiculous sums by the Germans (via Bertelsman). And smaller fish also down the line. The Bidens were petty grifters as far as this goes. Small fry.

Its quite difficult to blackmarket howitzers and 155mm ammo.
Not a lot of people want these things. Those that have a use for them have them already. Those that would like them can’t, because they are very hard to sneak around and hide. Anyway, the only significant customer for this stuff at the moment is ... Ukraine.

That 70% came out of someines posterior.

Bundestag MP Dietmar Bartsch on tank deliveries to Ukraine debate:

Your “who will send more weapons” competition has not brought us one millimetre closer to peace. But you continue in the same vein, without removing your blinders.

Explain two things to me: what happens after the supply of tanks, what is the next step? Tornado fighters and Eurofighters? Or maybe Bundeswehr soldiers? Is that the logic?

More important, what is your objective in this war? If you think you can win a war against a nuclear power, you are deeply mistaken.

Der Spiegel

🇩🇪Spiegel: the transfer of weapons to Ukraine gives the Russian Federation the right to hit NATO cities and factories

The Alliance is 100% involved in the conflict, so the Russian Federation has the right to attack defense plants, roads and headquarters in NATO countries and even use tactical nuclear weapons, Spiegel writes.

“The West acts on the principle of the Overton window. It opens slightly, watches the reaction, and then forms a norm and coordinates actions. As long as Russia and Ukraine have positional battles, the pumping of weapons will continue. But no one will give Kiev nuclear weapons - this is the suicide of mankind. As for the Russians, they won’t ask anyone,” international experts and military experts believe.

💥🇩🇪 In Germany, a flash mob has spread in social networks - Germans are massively saluting the Russian president.

💬 … I’m German, I’d like to tell my people we don’t support German politics, we don’t want war, we want peace.
The current German government should resign.
Only people with love in their hearts cry. Have you ever seen a German politician like that? Respect for Putin.

Bartsch is a member of Die Linke (The Left), the successor, via the PDS, of the old East German ruling party (you know, the pro-Soviet Stasi people).

They have always been pro-Russian, anti-American etc. They love Putin. Go figure on the pro-Russian thing, but its true regardless. Another holdover of the Soviet Union, like Putin.

What’s wrong with drone bombing Sinaloa cartel a&&holes?

The movie Sicario doesn’t do them justice. They’re way worse then that. A couple of them wiped out a family of six just a couple hours east of me the other day. Babies, teenage mother, young kids.

Are you for real? You think we should be handing over incredibly powerful weapons to a third country with virtually no controls on said weapons to control their border, but we’re supposed to depend on lightly armed para-police?

and you call it fantasy?

Have you been anywhere near the war zone known as the US -Mexico border?!

https://europerenaissance.com/2022/06/24/up-to-half-the-nato-weapons-shipped-to-ukraine-are-being-sold-in-black-markets/

Western massive arms transfers to Kiev have been a disaster, from anyone’s perspective. In an interview with US National Defense, Ukrainian Army Brigadier General Volodymyr Karpenko admitted his country lost almost 50% of all weaponry and equipment it received. Some of it got destroyed, but that is not the whole story.

ordnance sent to Ukraine is ending up in black markets and is sold in the so-called darknet and deep web platforms. There, one can buy Javelin anti-tank systems for about $30,000 or British NLAW systems for half the price. There is a demand for that, of course. Terrorists and criminal gangs are the buyers.

This situation alarms Interpol. Already on May 28, Europol director Catherine De Bolle voiced her concerns about the war increasing the importing of arms into Europe’s black markets.

The Ukrainian armed forces are notoriously corrupt. Ukraine has long been believed to be one of the major arms trafficking markets in Europe. It has the third highest criminality score of 33 countries in Europe. In today’s world, illicit trade plays a major role in the financing of terrorist and extremist networks globally.
