This story from last week keeps getting worse. The husband of 32-year-old Lindsay Clancy went to the store for about 20-minutes. When he returned, he found his three small children unconscious, suffocated by their mother.
Now, her attorney is saying she was overmedicated with 13 psychiatric drugs at the time of the murders. According to One America News:

He’s gone just 20 minutes? And now the 1M fundraiser - for what? Not for the kids.
“And now the 1M fundraiser - for what?”
____
My question as well. I assume any funds raised will be for her legal defense. The children have all been buried so it certainly isn’t for their care or assistance.
From what I read, if you stop the psyc drugs cold turkey it’s instant psycho.
you are probably right
But I sure won’t be donating
pyschotropic drugs are very popular in the public school system, I believe it is around 40% of young boys are being forced to take them
and half of them are to combat side effects of the other half...
Remember Andrea Yates? These mentally ill mothers sure do think clearly enough to plot and plan and murder in the short window when they’re alone with the children.
Blame the doctors for handing out these drugs like they are candy. Im sure some people need them but not at the levels we are seeing.
Women on SSRIs have skyrocketed in the last decade.
I think that’s a conservative estimate. Depends on the locale.
And the fundraiser was posted two days after they died. What!!
“Psychiatric” drugs don’t cure. They mask the symptoms of the underlying problem by messing with neurotransmitters and giving the false appearance of a cure.
The problem is still there, but now is being masked.
Chemical psychiatry is a fraud.
Indeed.
Always excuses for females. Not her fault.
Nope it is. Still responsible.
Take the license of the so called doctors who gave her 13 meds.
“ And now the 1M fundraiser - for what?”
I’d wager that her lawyer helped set up the Go Fund Me page.
I went to mental counselor while going through a grueling divorce over 20 years ago. She prescribed me medication after my 2nd session. She insisted it was not a psychotropic drug and only intended to help me sleep. Within less than a week I was literally bouncing off the walls, so I stopped taking them and called my personal physician who advised me that the meds she prescribed were in fact psychotropic and that I should stop taking them and file a complaint with the AMA.
Since then the only prescriptions I will take are antibiotics for infections or maybe a few Ibuprofen for pain relief.
I don’t think most doctors / psychiatrists have any idea what they are prescribing. They just take the pharmaceutical companies’ recommendation without doing any real research on their own.
I recall a line from the film “Awakenings” where a pharmacist tells Robin Williams, “I’m just a pharmacist and only create the drugs and let the doctors do the damage.” Then later his boss at the hospital says, “We’re doctors. We don’t create the drugs. We let the pharmacists create the drugs and be responsible for the damage.”
If you were married to a woman on such a cornucopia of drugs would you leave your children alone with her? There’s more to this story. Incredible stupidity to start with.
There had to have been signs galore.
Yes. Never forgot that tiny girl who innocently came to her mother for help because something was terribly wrong with her brother (whom the mother had killed earlier).
May those children be in heaven now.
