Mexican Cartel-Style Violence Spreading in California over Marijuana Grow Fields
Breitbart ^ | 02/05/2023 | ILDEFONSO ORTIZ and BRANDON DARBY

Contrary to political rhetoric, Mexican-style cartel killings and gun battles appear to have already reached the U.S. and are spreading — particularly in California. The region experienced an explosive growth of cartel marijuana grow operations that are taking advantage of legalization and lax laws.

This week, federal authorities clashed with one of two gunmen who are accused of killing a family of six — including a 16-year-old female and her baby. The murders took place last month in Tulare County, California, in what some authorities have dubbed a cartel killing.

I agree with the sentiment, but I’d offer something different.

Force EVERY single liberal and Democrat voter back into the major cities, where they hatched. They’re the ones that support all this Leftist sh*t, the UN and Agenda 21, let them live in the densely populated cities. Find all the liberals and democrats that have moved and are steadily moving into the suburbs and small rural towns, ruining them in the process, and force them back.

Build a wall around all of them. Let them stew in those cesspools. Eventually, they’ll fall prey to the savages that inhabit those cities. The ones the Democrats say that they care so much about and want to help.

It’s not legalized on the Federal side.
So the Feds recognize no deductions on federal income tax returns.
So gross sales = net taxable sales with no offsets.
So still way better to be illegal.

America’s real enemies, those who truly do us harm, are NEVER confronted.

Do you mean the cartels or the politicians that we elect, over and over and over again, that do nothing but figure out a way to make money from their positions and screw over their friends and neighbors?

I’m of the thinking that it’s the politicians that are far worse enemies than any cartel member.

I know who the cartel member is. They can be pointed out.

The politician is the true subversive that seeks to profit and, at the same time, destroy. And they do it with a smile on their faces and take pictures with you and the fair.

Unless we get a Commander In Chief who will acknowledge the cartels as "A Clear And Present Danger" and will respond to the obvious act of war, there will be no end to the mayhem.

Those animals will expand their operations until they encounter resistance. But that's the thing with liberals, viz. they're stupid and they're cowards and they invite aggression. No end in sight. We get what we deserve. See my tagline.

“So still way better to be illegal.”

Many don’t like the risk of being illegal and they make huge money too. I have a friend in a suburb of Denver whose rental house is in an area approved for pot shops. Some legal operators came to him and asked to rent the house for a pot store. He said, “How much can you pay?”

They said: We’ll pay triple whatever you are getting now, show us your lease. That’s up and running and now they want to buy his small warehouse next door for a grow spot. I was his Realtor when he bought it 20 years ago for $115k. He’s selling it to them for $1.4MM. He has to carry it since they can’t get financing. They are giving him $400k down, he carries the million.

It sounds like the Cartels are moving in on the native Californian pot growers.

"Mexican-style cartel killings and gun battles appear to have already reached the U.S. and are spreading."

It's only the beginning... The cops, civic leaders and politicians are lining up right this very moment to get their names put on the "Gives me dat" list...

I would totally understand if the citizens of our communities started taking matters into their own hands regarding cartels and their street gang proxies.

Legal consequences aside, the cartels are not at all shy about wreaking extreme vengeance on anyone (and his family) who crosses them—or even appears to be crossing them.

No matter how ‘illegal’ they may be, if they are within the U.S. they get all the Constitutional rights when it comes to prosecution of crimes. Witnesses against them have a disturbing amount of ‘bad luck’.

Attacking them in Mexico would be seen as an act of war against a sovereign nation. There is no way that Mexico would agree to such actions. Regardless of current corruption, Mexican history wouldn’t allow for it. Who knows where such a thing would lead? We did it 100 years ago with not-so-happy results.

Many were under the illusion that legalizing (and of course taxing) marijuana would put the cartels out of business in the U.S. Instead they seem to be growing and prospering more than ever. Would you voluntarily openly compete against them for sales?

What would fix the situation is for the damn government to enforce the laws, secure the borders and execute people who murder, rape, traffic humans, and pedophiles!

the cartels are growing weed, because the legal weed is low in price. lots of weed is being grown in the socal desert and stealing ground water.

lots of legal weed farmers are in humbolt, mendacino counties.

This may be more of an issue of who is winning the Mexican drug wars. When we put El Chapo in jail, we opened the job of head drug cartel, it might have been a mistake. The ones likely to win like violence for violence sake.

Sinaloa Cartel Were are drug businesses with the required violence.

jalisco new generation cartel Is violence then drug trafficking. They come north of the boarder and we will see major jumps in drug violence.

Here is Peter Zeihan on Joe Rogan. 5 min clip saying much what I stated above. Some may not like either Rogan / Zeihan -

If JNGC wins then I honestly believe the military of the USA will need to take the gloves off because I expect the Mexican military to fall to the corruption, violence and funding JNGC will have. We will literally have to take 25K-40K SOCOM with full air, ground and naval assets to execute an assault plan to destroy them. It will be our North American version of taking out the Taliban. We may be able to win this one. MAYBE.

We will see in 3-7 years. Give or take. I’m open to others correcting my limited knowledge.

There’s more insidious activity than this. The cartel’s employ a Judas type of individual who goes into the Border Detention Centers claiming to be a friend or relative. They recruit strong males and attractive girls by lying to them. Once they gin up the youngster, they tell the center staff some story and off they go…most will never be seen again.

The desert hides a terrible tale…

*** Mexican-style cartel killings and gun battles appear to have already reached the U.S. and are spreading — particularly in California. ****

I remember 55 years ago when it was pointed out to an anti-gun newspaper that more people in Mexico were killed with knives, than were killed with guns in the USA.

The newspaper editors poo-pooed it by saying “It was because of the cult of Macho which we do not have here in the US.”

Well, it’s here now!

No kidding? The drug cartels have crossed America's open borders? They have taken over America's legalized marijuana industry? They're bringing their signature violence into the USA?

Anybody who didn't predict this is either unfunctionably stupid or part of the problem (or both).
