A New York middle school is apologizing after serving students with a meal on the first day of Black History Month that was deemed to be culturally insensitive. Administrators at Nyack Middle School say that the hot lunch menu was changed by the vendor without their knowledge on February 1st, the first day of Black History Month, to include chicken and waffles with a watermelon dessert which the school’s principal called an "unfortunate situation", The Journal News reported.

Meanwhile in the teachers lounge they’re celebrating black history by smoking Kools and drinking Colt 45’s.
Just wait until the CDC/NIH/ALA etc pull all menthols off the market; riots will ensue bigtime.

I think they should have served polish kielbasi and fried cabbage ....or Mexican chili relano....or maybe some kimchi..or borscht or some tandoori chicken...

I had no idea chicken and waffles are only for blacks. We love them and in a freckle white guy.
I like Turkey & Waffles w/ Gravy; too much chicken out here in York-Lancaster PA. Tired of it.
That’s probably the only palatable meal that school has served all year.

Most of the “insensitivity” that sends the left into hysterics is utter nonsense and reveals what fools they are; however, in this case, one wonders how these people managed to make such a silly blunder.
It pays to read just a little bit deeper in the excerpt...”with a watermelon dessert.” I know it’s goes against the FR grain...
