And the Rio Grande is very important too. But, right now dealing with Russia is just as crucial. No argument from me on our border.

What is “Dealing with Russia”? Without our military intervention, Ukraine can’t defeat Russia militarily, and if by some miracle Ukraine drives Russia out, Russia still be there. Maybe even more truculent and belligerent. Russia will still have to be “Dealt with”.

Ukraine is dealing with Russia. If you will note Russian history there has generally been uprisings when they lose or are losing wars. The government may be willing to send people to their deaths but usually the people eventually get wise and their is trouble for the government. Their is much speculation that Russia will split up if it loses. Ukraine can and is defeating Russia. We and our allies just have to make sure they are getting the supplies that they need to finish the job. Russia is basically a third rate society with a very backwards population that is why they can be defeated by a smaller country. s

Ukraine is dealing with Russia.

They’re locked in an attritional battle that they can’t win in the long run. The Russians are not going to go split up and go away. There’s another poster on this forum fantasizing about something similar, that Russia will split up and all that will be left will be a rump state “Muscovy”. You must mean 1905 and 1917. 1905 and 1917 the Tsarist society was in trouble, the wars hastened its break down. I give you 1812 and 1941 where they were losing even worse and rallied to defeat the enemy in the end.

Yes, they can win in the long run. With Napoleon and Hitler they had allies and one of the biggest allies was there harsh winter when they were actually invaded. They have no allies of any real help and they will likely end up with their people giving up hope and rebelling. Afghanistan beat them so why can't Ukraine.
