Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen on Wednesday revealed that he recently turned over his cellphones to Manhattan prosecutors who are investigating hush-money payments paid to adult-film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 elections.
“Most recently, they asked for my cellphones because they want to be able to extract from it the voice recordings that I had had with Keith Davidson, former attorney to Stormy Daniels before Michael Avenatti, as well as a bunch of emails, text messages and so on,” Cohen told Don Lemon on “CNN’s This Morning.”
The phones, which were previously taken by federal investigators in 2018, are “new to the district attorney,” Cohen said. He noted that his cellphone can serve as evidence if the investigation is moved forward, which he suspects will happen.
Cohen pleaded guilty in 2018 to eight charges, including bank fraud, tax fraud and campaign finance violations. This also included one count of making an excessive campaign contribution on Oct. 27, 2016, the same date that Cohen paid Daniels in a nondisclosure agreement over an affair Daniels says she had with former President Trump.

The feds found nothing of value in 2018....this new idiot prosecutor will spend two months over these...coming to the same conclusion.
Cohen’s behavior make me wonder about what terrible advice he used to give Trump. It seems Trump gets a lot of poor advice. It would be fantastic if Trump held a rally and randomly selected people in the overflow section to be his advisers.
Does Trump get bad advice, or does Trump get the advice he wants? I would suspect that Trump gets the answers he’s already decided on in many cases.
The question would be, does attorney-client privilege extend after the attorney in question is disbarred?
If so, the only consequence may be to disbar an attorney who has already been disbarred.
I thought we already went through this. She signed an NDA and was paid for that, which is very LEGAL. She broke the NDA and had to pay back the money. That should be the end of it. how are they still beating this dead horse?
Attorney Client privilege didn’t exist for Trump when he WAS a lawyer.
As the song goes, “Money Changes Everything”.
When did Michael Cohen go to prison and why?

Actually there’s another attorney involved who did the paperwork (NDA) agreement. He may be the one we should really be looking at.
is hush money illegal?
No...it was about where the funds were coming from....campaign funds?? I forgot. It’s been a while.
