Look out. You’ve hit the trigger for a stream of anti DeSantis posts, claiming DeSantis is Satan’s spawn.

Neil Newhouse is a co-founder of Public Opinion Strategies, a political survey and polling firm, and was the lead pollster for the unsuccessful presidential campaigns of both John McCain and Mitt Romney against Barack Obama.

Sounds like a GOPe RINO polling group…

Time will tell.

I want Trump to be given the earned opportunity to finish his work in Washington
They stole it from him and if someone runs against him, they will have joined the anti Trumpers in keeping him out. They are young and can wait 4 more years.

I won’t vote for any of them. Not now and not then.. If you run against Trump

The bar graph at the bottom is pretty telling.

So is the comparison between an October poll and the current one.

Look, my fine FRiends, we are all on the same team. We are just trying to determine who will emerge as our quarterback from the '24 GOP Primaries.

It's fine with me if you endorse Trump, I won't call you names or suggest that you are a bad person. If Trump wins the nom, I'll support and vote (early, of course) for the gentleman.

I do, however, strongly suspect that Trump will not win our nomination, and that either DeSantis or Pompeo will carry the team.

Wonder if Alabama voters would vote for Jeff Sessions again?

Too far out from actual elections to matter. Plus I’m sure between now and primaries either candidate will do or say something that everyone hates.

The Only Trumpers on this thread seem intolerant, non objective, irrational and cult like. They don’t want to even consider being open to all ideas. It is emotion over reason.

Supporting Trump is fine, but anyone who dare criticize Trump is labeled, cancelled and insulted. Critcizing Trump does not make one a Never Trumper, but a way to keep eyes open.

Bwahahaha

Yea and Hillary was going to win GA by 10.

If you are gonna tell a lie, you have to make it at least somewhat believable…

This one doesn’t pass the most rudimentary smell test.

Assuming arguendo that Trump, despite his demonstrated innocence of all the illegal and preposterous allegations laid against him, runs some risk in 2024 of losing simply because at least some decisive portion of the electorate votes while largely distracted or votes while misinformed by media, should we either support Trump or look to DeSantis as the safer option?

I have a very emotional attachment to the ethical mandate that the treachery of the Democrat party and its co-conspirators in the government should not be permitted to prevail and I am willing to run some real risks of actually losing the election to uphold the principle of equal justice. So I and willing to run some risks of winning or losing just so that the Democrats are punished at least at the polls for their crimes. To do otherwise is to reward bad behavior.

That is a different proposition than arguing that Trump personally is owed a second chance. No one with any civilized sense of empathy can deny that Trump deserves a second chance to restore his legacy and repair the damage so treacherously inflicted upon him but those kinds of personal considerations are as nothing compared to the survival of liberty.

If nominating Trump means Republicans surely lose, then personal considerations must simply be set aside. On the other hand, what rational and reasonable risks are we willing to run to vindicate justice? What precedent do we set if we fail to force the issue?

These questions are mooted without any hidden agenda.

Believing Alabama has turned against Trump is like believing we quit loving college football and embrace soccer. LOL

Next there will be a poll claiming us Alabamians prefer veggie burgers over bacon. LOL
