Forty-fifth President Donald Trump dominated two new polls against potential Republican challengers from New Hampshire and South Carolina by a landslide and also won a 2024 presidential rematch poll against President Joe Biden.
According to a recent South Carolina poll by Trafalgar Group, Trump, of course, came in first place by a landslide with 43.4 percent. Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) came in a far second 15.6 points behind with a minor 27.8 percent.
Trump also won the Republican primary poll in New Hampshire conducted by the New Hampshire Journal. Trump won with 37 percent. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis came in second place with 30 percent, 7 points behind Trump.
In a recent Emerson College poll, Trump received a 30-point landslide lead in the race for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination with 55 percent support. Meanwhile, DeSantis came in second place with 25 percent.
While Trump is dominating in the Republican primaries, the Republican frontrunner is also swiftly beating back President Biden in a potential matchup in the next presidential election.
According to a recent Harvard-Harris 2024 poll, Trump beat Biden with 46 percent, while Biden received 41 percent. 13 percent said they are unsure.
With Trump already making campaign stops in key initial states that determine the Republican nominee, he will have a leg up on any potential competition that challenges him. With polls showing that he is already dominating the field, he will likely come out victorious in these early states irrespective of the competition.
When recently asked about DeSantis potentially attempting to run for president, Trump said, “When I hear that he might [run] I think it’s very disloyal.” Trump added, “He won’t be leading, I got him elected. I’m the one that chose him.”
This comes after Trump hit the campaign trail for the first time this past weekend since his presidential campaign announcement in November with two stops in New Hampshire and South Carolina.
If he wants to stand up to the RINOs too, more power to him.
Picking Nikki Haley as his running mate would be insane.
He should pick Mike Pompeo.
I love President Trump and what he accomplished... but these polls are too far out to have any meaning.
DeSantis would lose his current job as Florida governor under Florida law if he campaigns for federal office.
I think he will need to start out strong and go on the attack early, not giving any other potential candidate any footing or momentum. That's why he's already going after DeSantis, who is likely his greatest perceived threat for the nomination.
if the donald keeps trash talking desantis he’s gonna lose my support...
DeSantis needs to declare his intentions to run or not.
Well, bye. You ant any real loss anyway.
he already did...
people are ignoring it and constantly driving that wedge deeper...

She has an impressive book out.
On the negative side, she was in Congress and she was heavily into ‘pork’ procurement.
The same Pompeo Trump sent to the Bilderberg meeting?
desantis puts florida and its citizens first...
if the donald has a problem with that he’s a hypocrite and should leave florida and move back to the open arms of new yawk city...
“if the donald keeps trash talking desantis he’s gonna lose my support...”
Don’t bad mouth other Republicans, just say he/she would make a fine vice president, which DeSantis would since he knows what Congress needs to do.
Then to end this charade, why don't DeSantis just walk up to the podium and say he's not running and supports Trump? It would take 1 minute.

Why must he give his support now, when he doesn’t know who else will be running. it’s too soon for that.
Well then, if he wants to play this secret little guessing game, the rest of us can play too. Right?
everything about this is counterproductive...
it’s no wonder the republicants couldn’t ride the red wave last november and sweep both chambers...
they refuse to get their sh*t together...
