Howdy, Kathy.
It looks like you might have another foggy night up there. The clouds are getting lower and lower and lower. I hope it doesn’t get as bad as it was early today. That was crazy-thick!

Ugh! I know y’all are just thrilled to be back in the deep freeze. So thrilled you have to share it with the rest of the country. LOL
It’s going to be a nippy week here but we’re going to stay just warm enough to avoid the ice storms - - barely. We’re good tonight but tomorrow night will be iffy.
Today was pretty warm so I got out and about a little while this afternoon. Light jacket weather today; bundle up weather the next three days. I’m stayin’ home. LOL

Howdy, luvie.
I reckon you don’t want to hear it got up to a balmy 60 degrees here, huh? LOL It’s not going to last but it won’t get as cold here as it is there. BRRRRRRR, I’m glad we’re missing out on that!

Hey there, radu!
I AM jealous! But it’ll be back into the 60s here by Friday or Saturday. Thank goodness neither of us have months of this stuff.
I’ve had to add hot water to the kitties’ water twice today, and it’ll be colder tomorrow. So far it’s dry as a bone here, though.

A very pleasant good Tuesday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks Lauren for this morning's thread.
How's everyone doing this morning?

Yikes! It’ll be colder tomorrow? It was awfully cold there today! I’m glad we aren’t catching the brunt of this arctic dive. We’ll be right chilly but not frigid. Our highs here will be 40 or above so even though the nights will be cold, anything frozen that might fall tomorrow night will melt Wednesday. But that’s here. The NW part of the state is getting icy stuff now. More of the state will get it tomorrow night and we’re supposed to barely miss out on that.
Back in the 50s for highs this weekend.
I don’t reckon you’ve seen much of your kitties today.

I’m just glad I don’t have to go anywhere till it warms up a bit. Though, I do have some nice warm coats that I haven’t worn in forever. LOL!
Glad you aren’t having the deep freeze. You had that last month, right? Or earlier this month. I remember that you were afraid that the winter wheat was dead.

Well, so far so good. We have a couple more days of this and then hopefully it will warm up some and we can get the ice to melt.
I did take a couple of pictures though. This is Gizmo looking for a place to hide his Alpo food bowl:
This is him having a ball out in this sleet.
We'll see how things go with this weather today and tomorrow. The main system is supposedly coming tomorrow night into Thursday.

I got out for a little while this afternoon since it w as so nice. It was cloudy but it felt pretty good. I don’t have any need to go out the next few days unless something comes up. It won’t be all THAT cold but why bother?
Yes, we were hit by the arctic blast over Christmas weekend. The wheat that was up turned black and I thought it was gone. But it came back and looks gorgeous.

Glad you got sleet and not ice. Sleet’s a big enough pain but not as bad as ice. It looks like Gizmo didn’t mind it a bit. LOL
I hope you get through the next round as easily.

I knew it was around that time. We had the same around that time, too. Colder than it is now.
Guess I’ll finish this show, check the kitties’ water and head out. I am sleepy tonight for some reason. See ya tomorrow and enjoy every minute of the nice weather while you have it. Wonder what tomorrow will bring for us. At least we don’t have ice...yet.

Good that this blast isn’t as cold as the one at Christmas. That one was brutal. If you can scoot through it without ice, that will be even better. A lot of folks aren’t so lucky.
No nice weather to enjoy the next few days. I enjoyed it today, while we had it. There are still waves of “wet” to get through along with the chill.
Sleep well. I hope there aren’t any nasty surprises tomorrow.

Hey there, Early Birds!
Wasn't this a fun Road Trip?
Just a suggestion though...
Put the top up today. It's nasty cold out there!
Hope all y'all have a Terrific Tuesday!
And no ice/snow storms in your area.
(((hugs)))
