The new General Motors Hummer electrical vehicle, priced at $115,000, has presented owners with many problems.
Roman Mica, the publisher of the website The Fast Lane Truck, posted a video of a brand new Hummer with multiple problems.
Mica was unable to move the vehicle because the shifter wouldn’t move and the trunk would not open. He finally got it in gear and drove it back to the dealer.
WATCH:
Reports have been published that point out an “offroad” Hummer malfunctions if a car wash goes awry, and issues with the software have caused faulty tail lights.
The Hummer is not the only electric vehicle experiencing issues.
A 2014 Ford Focus Electric needed a new battery that cost $14,000 -- and the car originally cost $11,000!
Consumer research group J.D. Power last year published a study indicating that EV owners are far less satisfied with their cars than are those who own traditional gas-powered vehicles. And it seems that unreliability of battery power is but one of the issues.
And yet, “progressive” politicians and “green energy” advocates remain obsessed with forcing Americans to buy electric vehicles in spite of the many problems that continue to plague the industry. The most rabid proponents of electric automobiles refuse to let the free market decide if such cars and trucks are truly wanted or even necessary.

What help is a fully stocked toolbox when your overly complicated, fully-electronic vehicle is bricked due to a software glitch?
Besides, most Hummer buyers wouldn’t have a clue what to do with all those tools, but they like to show them off because they go right along with their macho man fantasies.
Electric vehicles are great for acceleration and in deceleration you can actually reclaim some of that energy.
Gas vehicles are great at cruising at a steady speed, at their optimum efficiency.
The problem is they are trying to use one or the other to do both.
Gas engines are mostly inefficient because they are designed for a range of speeds, not their optimum. They suck up the just when accelerating, and reclaim nothing when braking.
Electric engines suck up the juice when cruising at speed.
A hybrid gas/electric was always the way to go.
AND cost to recharge is more that a gas fillup...never mind the time...also a significant cost.
Because, the end game is to force you to stay home. They're going to herd all of you into mini houses where you'll stay alive by eating bugs.
And you're going to put up with it, because you've put up with everything else they've done.
Remember when Obama and his Treasury Secretary removed people from GM’s BOD and replaced them with their friends? It was right before they raided Lucent’s employee’s retirement funds and turned them over to the UAW. Now they can’t make EV’s that work. It all catches up with you eventually.
Jim gave him the shove out the door a couple evenings ago, 28th. TG spent that whole day trolling and Jim said he needed some rest. Account banned or suspended.
I know they were fairly low key about this, they were laughing, not really uncomfortable in the weather and such, because they had money to burn, and bought it jointly to do an evaluation to support a cause if I understood that correctly. (He said “we bought” when talking about the acquisition process)
Just imagine if that were your own starry-eyed money you spent, and you got stuck in the middle of the roadway with cars streaming by.
It looked very dangerous, and if that were a normal person who purchased a high end model, the anger and outrage would be much more palpable.
Wait until someone dies because the doors won’t unlock.
FEMALE POLICE OFFICER: “Hello, sir. Are those C-cell batteries in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?”
lol.. I thought that he was on the edge of shorting out. All over several threads that day.
Sorry I missed it!

I was wrong, his last post was 12:11 am on the 29th.
Well if there’s someone out there who’s looking for the next profitable business to get into might I suggest buying a fleet of gas powered tow trucks
Thank you! Hey what’s 11 minutes in FR time...
Probably 90% of people born since 1990 don’t know which end of the hammer to pick up.
